I made this purchase because I have heard a lot about maca powder and its health benefits. I just recently went vegan and I am making smoothies a lot more than I used to and I was looking for a way to enhance my energy level more naturally than taking caffeine pills. I read the reviews on this product before I made the purchase and everyone, overwhelmingly, felt this was a great product so I decided to jump on it. Packaging-wise it's aesthetically appealing which is great for marketing and was one of the first things to draw me in. The package itself, however, could definitely be a bit better. I found that once it's open it's hard to reseal even though it's a resealable package. I spent at least thirty minutes trying to seal this bag up but it just wouldn't connect so I ended up putting it in a ziplock bag to keep fresh. The powder has a malt-like fragrance and taste which I found to be quite appealing. I wouldn't eat this on its own but it's amazing when added to a smoothie. I find that it also mixes well without clumping. I like the flavor it adds to my shakes and enjoy the extra energy it gives me. Also helps me have an appetite and had helped me to gain weight. Something i was looking for that was natural. On the flip side. My husband had the moon appetite and more energy effect. I'm 61. He's 71 and wet both are happy we found this product. Low dose is best for us. Taken in the morning for me. At night with my husband. He lost weight. Yay.

It improves my sex drive a lot after having my kids

I love the taste of this brand but I’m very disappointed in the downsize from 160z to 8 0z which I feel is not worth 10.00 ! To me quantity is more , keep the customer happy and you’ll made more in the long run unfortunately if earth circle doesn’t provide the 16oz again for this price or no more than 12.00 I will have to buy another brand , other than than the maca tastes so good , helps with energy, brain stimulation and vitality

Why in the world does it have a warning on the package? It says this product may contain lead! That doesn't sound good. It seems like a quality product, it's organic, but lead is a deal breaker.

I personally recommend, I use to suffer from cramps and this here help me alot.I can experience periods without pain. Is amazing.

Not the best tasting, but definitely not the worst. It is a little gritty, even when dissolved in boiling hot water. If you follow the recommended serving suggestion, adding coconut sugar and pure unsweetened chocolate, it tastes a little like a chocolate flavored coffee, but more... earthy. I've never really had a problem in the bow-chica-wow-wow department, but lately I have felt very low in my mood, which in turn affected my desire for intimacy. Within 2 days of taking the maca, I noticed I was less sullen, more playful (again) and interested in seeing my partner nude. Maca, so far has lived up to the hype.

What they don't tell you on the old version that they are still selling is this one has a lead warning. Does not say it was tested like the new one coming out. I'm not using this and returning it. They use the new one in the photos so you don't see the lead warning because they don't show you the back of the packaging.
