They are easy to light. However, they are quite small — roughly the size of a wine bottle cork. That means that each will produce only a modest amount of heat. Depending on what else you are trying to light, you may need to use several to get a fire going. Are they worth the price? That’s a value judgment that you’ll have to make for yourself.

Quick Works

These things are the ticket for starting fires. Easy start and burn about 5min. You have to give them room to breath in other words don t put too much pressure with your wood on top of them. There is a little learning curve for that, but once you learn it they are the best I have use.

Effective and good value. These light very easily and comfortably burn for long enough for kindling to catch well in my log burners. These don’t have any kind of chemical smell or residue and are much more eco friendly than many fire lighters. Have bought a second pack.
