Nice steamer/iron
I was surprised at how many mentioned this was really heavy. I didn't notice it being much heavier than a standard iron. I have been using this for a couple of months now and it works great. It is well made and puts out a lot of steam. The metal plate where the steam is emitted heats up and doubles as an iron. The cord is also plenty long. I am happy with this purchase

Built like a tank!
This baby is easily the “Cadillac” of garment steamers, and I haven’t even used it on an actual garment yet! I purchased it because I’m swapping out all the Stone Age window treatments in my house for newer, better looking drapery, and nothing arrives more wrinkled in the mail than curtains/drapes that have made the trip on a slow boat from China. Typical Rowenta quality, well made and fairly heavy (2.95 lbs), despite being described as “lightweight” by the manufacturer. At 1,875 watts, it heats up within seconds, and has several heat settings: low, medium, high, super high, and boost, with super high being most effective on those wrinkled drapes from China. It works horizontally as well, so would make an excellent “2 for the price of 1” appliance; you really wouldn’t necessarily need a regular clothes iron if you don’t do that much ironing, but if you do, I’d recommend the next model up, which includes a microfiber attachment intended to capture lint and hair while you’re ironing your garments. Easy to use straight out of the box, no setup or assembly needed. Just add water to the reservoir and plug it in. Decent value as well, generally about what other manufacturers are charging for a garment steamer of similar quality and capability. Considerations: it does take up a little real estate at 11.8” L x 8.66” W x 6.69” H; and the water reservoir is a measly 7.1 oz., which gets used up pretty quickly when you’re steaming 7’ H x 52” W drapery. A big plus is the 8.5’ cord, which is especially handy in a Stone Age house with electrical outlets few and far between. Highly recommended!

Portable and powerful steamer
I’ve had it for a few months and this is a very good steamer. I’m able to remove wrinkles quickly and easily. It’s light enough, doesn’t taken a lot of space to store, and given the settings work as intended, I’m able to get the job done with few passes. The boost mode produces a lot of steam which is great for some stubborn fabrics.I’ve also used it as an iron and because the ironing plate is small, I’ve noticed it works best with light fabric items. Thicker fabrics require extra time. I am considering getting a separate iron just because it would give me more ironing surface and heat control in general.I frequently end up not using the attachment. I didn’t add much value in my experience, so I don’t think it was worth paying extra for it. I’ve used it for vertical steaming and not so much for ironing as it rubs against the fabric and moves it out of place.Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and I recommend.

Amazing!
Bought this to take to Vegas for our wedding later this month (tulle dress- must have)! Can’t recommend this gadget enough - not heavy, easy to use, and the attachment is wonderful for ironing or lint removal on the go!

A Staple in my House
The build quality is typical Rowenta, which is good despite being built in the PRC (designed in Germany, but built in China). Our Rowenta iron has served us for well over a decade now, so I’m partial to this company. The size is what I expected based on the photos I’ve seen in some reviews. Some users may find it a bit on the large size, but seems appropriate to me given its purpose. Weight is appropriate for its size, but if using it for an extended period, it can seem heavy. It heats up quickly and steam output is solid. I haven’t gone above medium setting and it has produced excellent results on various fabrics. I read some complained about the reservoir being difficult to remove/reinstall and the hole being too small… I honestly don’t see the issue here, but everyone is different I guess. I’ve had zero leaks, but I don’t tend to use it on a flat surface, but rather with items that are hanging.A staple because I’m not always in a position to pull out the Iron setup and it’s just more convenient to use the steamer. Very happy with my purchase!

Works well with some drawbacks
This steamer works great! It easily and quickly removes wrinkles in delicate fabrics without leaving water spots. The only qualms are that it is quite bulky and heavy, and it is cumbersome to use on dresses. The cord is very stiff and not very long, so you can only use it on a hanging garment if you have an outlet right next to it. In a hotel room, this is almost impossible unless you also want to pack a power strip or something.
