BEST SEED MIX EVER!
I wish I could give this more stars ๐ ๐คฉ. My birds (a cockatiel and a white wing dove I rescued who is handicapped and couldn't be released) love this more than ANY OTHER. It's very good quality-excellent in all truth! Very fresh and healthier because it has fruits and vegetables as well as good seeds in it. I mix mine with Harrison's pellet food ๐. My birds LOVE it! I was able to find a larger size bag which made me very happy. Only drawback is this can be difficult to find, and it's very expensive! For me and my babies it's worth every nickel! I highly recommend and appreciate this food-10 stars ๐ ๐คฉ!

This is good bird food and I will be trying more.
This is something I am glad to find. The pet stores do not have this and my parrot loves it.

Our African Gray LOVES this food!
Our 30 year old African Gray loves this food. To say she's a picky eater is a gross understatement. During the pandemic prices and availability made this mix difficult to get from time to time so we bought a couple different "base" food brands/blends, Frankie hated them and I ended up throwing them away. Our girl is a bit spoiled, her commercial food is her "in the food bowl at all times food," but she gets 4 -1"x1" chunks of homemade bird bread every day (a recipe I developed over years of making other pre-packaged bird bread mixes and researching top shelf organic ingredients that would really supplement her diet). I make a big batch every 8 weeks (it's baked on a standard rimmed baking sheet then cut into 1x1 inch cubes and frozen in our deep freezer to preserve its freshness). It has 25 ingredients and I use Harrison's "fine" high potency pellets as the primary base ingredient. We flash freeze fresh leafy greens from our summer garden on a baking sheet then bag them up with a food saver and add 2 cups of the frozen greens--when fresh is not in season--minced in the food processor to the bread. She's never been a fan of "fresh" food. In 30 years we've tried everything, but outside of fresh zucchini, broccoli and strawberries from the garden and a blueberry or two she turns her beak up at everything else. She actually loves this mix and will sift through to the bottom of the bowl picking out her favorite things and tossing most of the dried fruit. It's pricey, but worth it for our finicky special silver girl.

the quality is great and my birds love it. I wish it was more economical. Maybe a larger bag with a good price

My lovebirds love it!
My lovebirds were very picky about their food. I kept having to switch around until I found this brand. They love it. Unfortunately, it is more expensive but if it makes them happyโฆitโll do.

My Birds LOVE this!
I have 3 VERY spoiled parrotletts who are allowed to fly free whenever I am home. Iโm very aware that ONLY the best & most nutritious food for birds is NECESSARY if their health stays good & top nutrition is maintained! I say a review for this special blend, & altho itโs kind of pricy, my Babies are worth it!! When I give them fresh food each day, this seed blend is part of the mix & ALL 3 LOVE IT!! The more variety of the BEST FOODS, along with several everyday, simple NEEDS, (such as FRESH FOODS, CLEAN, FRESH WATER 3 TIMES A DAY, & PLENTY OF VARIETY) all 3 of my birds are very active, hale & hearty, & receive ALL the one-on-one attention & affection I can deliver! Iโm disabled, so Iโm right there, close to them all dayโ every day!

My Budgies Love it But as a Bird Keeper I Have One Issue
My birds are loving this mix as an accompaniment to their pellets and fresh foods. I have one bird that is a seed addict and is extremely hard to get to eat healthy and this helps in getting more fruits and veggies into him and I love that millet is very low down on the ingredient list, below the actual fruits and veggies. I do have one issue though, the main reason to try to get birds to eat more fruits and veg than seeds is the risk fatty liver disease that seed based diets cause, birds in captivity get way more fats than their bodies can process and it literally kills them, another food group aside from seeds that is even higher in fats is nuts and the first 10 ingredients listed on this package are all nuts. It even has peanuts, which some parrot owners say should not be fed to birds at all because they can carry fungi and infectious bacteria in their shells which aren't too dangerous to humans but can be to birds. I feel like this mix is more of a treat than a way to really improve a birds diet. My birds are still healthy and happy after eating it so I will continue to feed them a few teaspoons here and there but I feel like hiding some millet seeds inside a raspberry or amidst some broccoli would be a better/healthier way to entice my picky eater into eating his fruits and veg.

It isโฆ
Simply the best! Your bird will love it! Even the pickiest bird will devour it. You can feel good knowing that itโs full of healthy ingredients too. Pricey but worth it. Keeps best in the freezer.

Product smell good, well sealed
My monster only eats 30-40 % of what's in the bag... I'm throwing out the rest- But to be fair she is like that with all her food. Tossing it all over -The food looked nice, no moths inside and smells good. Gave it a go but guess I guess she just is a food tosser. For the $ I will mix her own from the organic bulk food shop. Just the bus ride is a killer.
