When squatting heavier I would compensate for muscle weakness by letting my knees bow in. I started using the Loop every day and would do air squats, focusing on pushing my knees apart, its allowed me to build up strength and I've noticed a solid difference when squatting with the bar.If you are looking for something for around your ankles, this is not your productIf you're looking for a solid Hip Circle to wear above your knees, this is it.I've also used the Sling Shot version and the differences are: Mark Bell's Hip Circle is smaller in width, a little more elastic (has more give). Other than that, they seem pretty comparable. Hope this helps!

Stretched out in 5 weeks
I love this band however I’m really disappointed in the quality. I’ve had this bad for about 5 weeks. I use it 4-5 times a week and it is already completely stretched out. I’m a small woman, 5’4 105lbs so it’s not like I was trying to fit two pounds of sugar in a day be lb bag. Very disappointing as I feel like I have to buy a new band already :(

I bought the highest resistance, it is good for squats but definitely too tight for abductors (i still do them with this band though) and it is definitely impossible to do crab walks with this. Make sure you know this is kinda like the slingshot band, not rubber. It has a different purpose.

Seems to be well made
I went with the smaller size and I love the strong resistance. I've seen some reviews saying that it's too much resistance but I like doing the extra work. There are other hip circle with lighter resistance but I love the heaviness on this one.I got the Medium but according to the chart I should've got L because I'm over 160. The small forces me to externally rotate harder because the loop if smaller and tighter.Seems to be well made. I have another band from a different company but this one seems like better material.

So, I was not believing the other reviewers on the medium loop, so I bought the 2 pack. I am glad I did otherwise I would have been upset that I had to buy the large. My knees get squished together,while using the medium loop, doing squats which is absolutely wrong form. I will be using the large since I do not want to add to additional issues with wrong form. The whole reason to work out is to be healthy not to destroy your hip flexors and knees. If you do not believe me get the 2 pack and check out that your knees are more at an inward angle. If you are seeing this stop and go for the larger size. You are doing the exercise incorrectly and the pain your feeling is not from the loop doing its job but the loop being to tight for you to perform a correct exercise.

Updated review: I am so incredibly impressed with this seller! They have exceeded my expectations in customer service. I would order from them again just for that. I did end up getting the size “large” band which is much better. Gives you a run for your money when you workout but isn’t so hard that it’s unusable. I really like it. I think it is a nice quality band and look forward to using it regularly at the gym!I am workout a At least 12 hours a week so I thought this would be great since my old bands were getting stretched out. I got the medium but it is so incredibly hard to even spread your legs enough to squat properly. Def would have got the large or even extra large so it would be more useful.

You have to pay to return! However, the band is nice!
I ordered this band in a large and it’s really nice. It doesn’t slip or move when I’m doing my squats or lunges. That’s what I like about it. It’s also durable and I can tell this will hold up for many years. I decided to order a medium to test the resistance. They recommend a certain band for your size. However I feel as if the large is great but I could use a little more resistance. Hmmm I was wrong the medium is entirely to small and I can’t get over my thighs... I tried to return but you have to pay to return. I wish I would have seen that before I ordered. That’s the only thing i don’t like about that. Other than that it get the job done! I guess I have work to put in to get in that medium 💪🏾

Amazing for basic leg work!
I am a very athletic woman in my twenties and before this band, I was using more flexible rubber resistance bands to warm up and engage my glute and leg muscles. This band is amazing quality but I have to say this band does not have a lot of give and mobility to it even after using it for over a month it has only begun to stretch a little bit. I am petite, 5'1, 120 pounds and it takes a lot of work for me to get this band to stretch above my knees during my workouts which is exactly what it's supposed to do. If you're looking for more flexibility in a resistance band or have a larger body and legs, I would size up but this one is amazing for abductions, squats, and glute bridges.
