I used this to recover the contents of a dead MacBook Air.I initially gave this a 1 star review because it didn't work. Well, after feeling pretty frustrated, I tried a different USB cord and it turns out, the cord they shipped it with was a dud. I was able to transfer the data I needed using this enclosure.I've adjusted my review to 3 stars. I would give it more, but shipping the enclosure with a busted USB cord is not great and I wouldn't have ever known if I hadn't swapped it out with one I already owned.That said, it does function and served the purpose I needed it for.

This adapter works as expected, no issues there. However it has 2 USB-A cables, so be aware of that. Also my ssd card did not fit in the metal enclosure. For some reason mine is wider.

This item was listed to with an m.2 style ssd from a macbook with the model MZ-JPV5120/oA4 and it does not. The drive wont fit the enclosure and the power cord that was sent does not match the power port on the enclosure. I tried to run the drive outside the enclosure but my computer could not recognize it.

Very simple to setup and use. It just works. Brilliant solution for transferring data from a failed laptop to a new machine.

Saved me £280 which a local data recovery specialist was trying to charge after my macbook pro got crushed.

PREMESSA: Se avete un SSD originale Apple posso confermare che quest'interfaccia funziona perfettamente, mentre se, come nel mio caso, avete installato un SSD non originale non va.Non posso dare una votazione più alta a questo articolo in quanto l'ho preso pensando potesse funzionare con l'SSD che avevo montato nel mio MacBook Pro 15" Mid 2014. Ma così purtroppo non è. L'interfaccia non vede il disco non originale e questo importante dato non è specificato in maniera adeguata nella pagina di descrizione del articolo. Tra l'altro pagina malamente tradotta come al solito.Se la descrizione avesse messo in chiara ed inequivocabile evidenza che l'interfaccia funziona esclusivamente con gli SSD originali Apple (che tra le altre cose è un Samsung) non l'avrei presa.

Non posso esprimermi in una contentezza estrema in quando aver speso circa 75€ per non aver recuperato nulla su un Nve Toshiba 12 +16 pin Apple 2013 diventa frustante.Pazienza! se mi capiterà nuovamente quei tipi di ssd, almeno ho già l'adattatore pronto.Il cablaggio:Nudo era meglio!!!il guscio è d'impiccioMagari il prezzo lo si potrebbe portare tra i 35 e i 50€

A causa della rottura della MB del mio MacBook Air avevo bisogno di salvare i dati presenti nell'SSD e grazie a questo adattatore sono riuscito nell'intento. Mi permetto di suggerire di non utilizzare il contenitore in quanto durante operazioni di I/O prolungate il tutto tende a scaldarsi molto creando problemi di stabilità. Il prezzo mi sembra un po troppo alto, la componentistica utilizzata non lo giustifica.
