I don’t know what all the bad reviews are about. These things are awesome, but ya gotta use your brain. These may work in regular ankle high shoes on the lowest level but using one add on or DEFINITELY if using both there’s not gonna be room for your foot AND the lifts.I had a size 11 (I wear 10.5 but have a VERY wide foot (EEE) so have to buy size larger) pair of black lace up dress “boots” (come up as high as a high top sneaker) and they worked perfectly in them.I did buy longer laces just to make up for the extra used space in the shoe but they don’t slip, they’re super soft and cushy and I had them on for hours and they never hurt or bothered me.It’s a little tricky getting used to walking in them because it’s basically like wearing high heels but INSIDE your shoe so you won’t fall over or anything it’s jyst tricky to walk naturally in them (think heel, toe, heel, toe) wear a high enough shoe to accommodate them AND your foot and tie your laces nice and snug and after an hour or so I bet you forget you’ve got them on!

The price for what you get is priceless. I am a petite 5’ woman. I am use to walking in heels so I had no problem with comfort. That being said I have petite size 6 narrow feet. If your feet are wide I don’t know how these would feel. These fit perfect in my shoes (like they were custom made for them) I appreciate not having to trim anything just slip these in and I’m good. I don’t mind being short but of course it would be nice to be taller. I slipped these into my boots and they are very comfortable. With 1 I can’t even tell I’m wearing them, with 2 it’s still doable and not bad with 3 I would probably wear to an activity that doesn’t last all day. So depending on where I am going I adjust how many I put in. I rarely will go out without wearing at least the 1’ when you are short every inch makes such a big difference when talking to friends. The best part is no one knows you are wearing them. I even can slip 1 in my tennis shoes and it’s comfortable and not noticeable. If you are a man 1 insert will work fine, 2 will take a little getting use to but it’s doable for the outcome, 3 is doable, but It might be challenging since men don’t have experience walking in heels, I am sure it can be done though.So thankful for this product. I can change the inserts when I change shoes but I’m just going to buy more pairs to keep them in the shoes :)Thank you so much Amazon!!

For the price, it does what it’s meant to by adding some additional height. It does feel sometimes clunky in some shoes but still adds some comfort at the same time.

I put them in my doc martins and then put Dr. Sholes meant for high heels over them. They still aren’t crazy comfortable, but the Sholes definitely help. I think they could be more ergonomic or just slightly softer and they’d be better. At level 4 I could barely walk around the block. At level 1 they just feel like what I imagine high heels feel like (I’m a man) except with more toe room. I think the main problem actually is the way it makes the top of my foot rub against my shoe. And Docs are roomy, so keep that in mind.Otherwise, they looks good, I haven’t noticed them slipping, and they’re very cheap so if you’re interested it won’t hurt to try.

This item came mismatched and missing a piece thus making it much less effective. I purchased the 4 piece per foot version and it came with only one foot having 4 pieces and the other side only having 3! Thus I can only use 3 since a piece is missing!! The item came sealed so quality control failed.

I should have known better but it's really uncomfortable. It doesn't feel right in my shoe, and I feel like I need to go up a size to get it to fit right. I don't feel confident on the support, but there is no arc support at all. I haven't gone out with it because I could not bare the way it felt. Had to return.

They work amazingly, are simple and effective, don’t affect running walking ect and are relatively comfortable.
