I returned to buy my 2nd Simple Modern Water Bottle, but not another 32 oz, rather a 24 oz, one that fits into my tote, my vehicle's cup holder, & is easily carryable on 2-5 mile walks. I was certain, albeit incorrect, I had left a review after my 1st purchase; I'm here now to remedy that. I bought my 1st bottle in March of 2025, 15 months ago, & I am perfectly satisfied with it. I use it daily at home. I especially like the fixed handle & mouthpiece built into the cap, so it's all one piece. The snugly inserted straw, which is removable, creates a perfect seal, so between that & a properly closed lid, there is zero leakage. Many times (maybe I shouldn't admit this), I've left water in the bottle overnight & there has never been even a bad taste in the morning, let alone any mold! By preference, I put the bottle in the dishwasher & hand wash the lid & straw. The water bottle has good stability on virtually any flat surface, even down on the carpet. When I drink cold water, instead of my usual room temperature water, it remains cold for 10 hours. The best overall feature is its ease of use. In passing by, I hook a finger or two on to the fixed handle, flip open the mouthpiece with my thumb, & sip away while working outdoors or cooking supper in the kitchen or relaxing in the recliner. It's a water bottle, for goodness sakes, but it has all the practical & convenient usable features I appreciate. That is why I have returned 15 months later for my 2nd bottle, for the same quality, but different capacity.

I’ve been using the Simple Modern 24oz Mesa Water Bottle for about two weeks now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. As someone who’s constantly on the go — from workouts to errands — this bottle has become my daily companion. Insulation: The double-wall insulation is no joke. I filled it with ice water in the morning, left it in my car during errands (in Las Vegas heat!), and it was still cold over 6 hours later. I haven’t tried it with hot drinks yet, but based on how well it holds the cold, I have no doubt it would perform just as well. Straw Lid Design: I love the built-in straw! It’s leak-proof and easy to sip from while driving or at the gym. I tested it upside down, shook it around — no leaks at all. Perfect for people like me who toss bottles in bags and forget about them. Build Quality: The matte forest green color is beautiful and modern. I needed this water bottle as I needed something that was able to be fit into my tote bag and car. It was really important for me to find something that was able to be slim enough that it could carry enough water, but also fit cupholders and spaces in my bag so that I can easily bring it to school and be on the go. it is also amazing because when I put ice in it, it lasts a really long time and keeps my drink really cold. It’s also dishwasher safe and easy to clean if you would like to by hand wash. I got the 24 ounce in the almond birch color and it’s like a pretty oatmeal color. Overall, I really love this water bottle! *Something else to add is when I flipped it over it did not leak at all so if I were to drop it, I would be rest assured that it would not spill water. It’s been really hard to find a water bottle on Amazon that meets all of the criteria that I’m looking for so while it may not be the perfect water bottle for you, make sure that you’re looking for water bottles that are meeting the criterion that you require. So, for me that is making sure it’s a dishwasher safe, leak proof, and able to fit in areas like my car or bag.*

As a fan of Simple Modern products, I was excited to try their kids' water bottle, and it hasn't disappointed. This bottle is perfect for keeping my child's drinks cold all day long, even in warm weather. We've been amazed to find ice still floating around after a full day at summer camp! The leak-proof straw lid is a lifesaver. It's designed specifically for this bottle and forms a tight seal, so I don't have to worry about spills in my bag or car. Plus, the bottle comes with two straws – one fitted for the lid and another standard one, offering flexibility. I like the size and that this has a flip straw top, but it leaks if tipped at all.

Been a SimpleModern fan since day one. Love the coffee tumblrs, I've bought multiple over the years. Love the company and the brand. Coffee stays hot in the tumblers, water stays cold in the water bottles. An issue I had with the water bottle is that the one I had specifically wasn't rated as leak-proof, and it did leak on it's side or when placed in a bag. Bringing to the beach also gets sand stuck in the straw mechanism/air valve and causes leaks. For these reasons, I recently tried out a Hydroflask water bottle (also good, keeps very cold, but then I lost it) and Yeti (20% more expensive and did not keep cold very well, but also was a slightly different shape so that might have something to do with it; I ended up returning it). Anyway, came back to this SimpleModern one: in my short time with it, it hasn't leaked (even when on it's side or inverted, though I make sure to not rigorously shake it like some other reviews mention). The *only* minor complaint is that the air valve is quite tight: it pulls a vacuum at the beginning of the sip, and then makes an annoying suction noise after a second or two. The valve is quite tight to prevent leaks but for that reason you have to pull a little harder suction when you sip. Every time I sip it makes the noise. The Hydroflask mechanism for preventing leaks was better (but I also believe patent-protected, so not sure if we'll see it on a SimpleModern). Again, this is just a minor annoyance, it's not perfect, but it's good enough. I still recommend the water bottle, I like the company and will continue to buy their products.

I got this water specifically to fit in the cup holder on a golf cart and it is perfect. I golf all the time and haven’t found a model of cart that this water bottle doesn’t snuggly fit in. Another plus is the height, it fits under the majority of sinks and water fountains which makes it easy to refill. It is super light, the color is gorgeous, and very easy to clean. And the most important thing is it doesn’t leak!

I’ve been a loyal Simple Modern customer for years, and at this point, I own what can only be described as an ungodly number of their water bottles. I’ve always raved about how well they keep ice frozen for days—sometimes several days—with zero issues. But here’s the problem: the last two bottles I purchased just aren’t the same. They look great, but they do not keep ice like the old ones did. Ice melts in just a few short hours, and cold drinks don’t stay nearly as chilly as they used to. It’s disappointing, especially since I have older bottles from years ago that are still outperforming these brand-new ones. I’m hoping this is just a quality control hiccup, because I really want to keep recommending Simple Modern to friends and family. Until then, I can only give these recent purchases three stars for beautiful design but underwhelming performance.

LOVE this Stainless steel waterbottle with internal straw! It keeps my water very cold, even in this heat of 34 deg C today, in the sun in my car!! I love how easy it is to clean the straw and the mouth spout, which easily folds down for drip-free transport! It stayed cool for 5 hours in the VERY HOT CAR!. I love the silicone mouthpiece that is removable for easy cleaning. As per usual, I make sure I empty my water bottle and rinse it out to drip dry after I get home, washing it nightly after the day's use with a silicone scrubber and straw cleaner. It has remained in great condition for well over 6 months now, too! (Sometimes I drop things!), It washes well on the outside as well should some dirt or mud get on the outside. I highly recommend this product and am very pleased with its performance!
