After buying several versions of these and returning them, these Alinkey projector lights were just what we were looking for. Unlike many of the others, this set includes not only red and green, but also a beautiful blue color. The remote lets you choose between these colors or any combination thereof. But the thing we like best is that we can choose to just have constant, random, slow, relaxing and sparkling movement. Several of the other light sets wouldn't let you set it to one kind of movement. They would be flashing between settings and changing brightness like a flashing neon bar sign. No thanks, but if you like that sort of thing the option is available via the remote. Speaking of the remote, although the product description said it doesn't include batteries, ours did and were ready to go right out of the box. Also, as long as you hold the "on" button for three seconds as instructed to pair the remote. it will remember the setting you chose. Only if you have a power outage will it revert to the default settings. But that's easily remedied. These Alinkey projector lights are perfect for us. They provide ample brightness and cover a nice large area. Very pleased to have found them.

Checked it out on the living room ceiling- looked pretty cool. I actually bought this to provide illumination for my fiber optic Christmas tree since the original unit fell apart- early results were very promising, but I'll need to rig up some kind of enclosed mounting for it to work perfectly. It will still be a nice lighting effects source even if the tree doesn't quite work out.

Love the star shower / firefly effect. We use it in the backyard to project up into the trees in the summer and it has a magical, fairy-like vibe that is truly awesome once set up correctly. It’s better than the Star Shower ultra 9 because it has RGB where the ultra 9 is only RG. Those are the good things. Now the bad: 1) it does not seem as durable as my Ultra 9, but time will tell. 2) The remote is the only way you can control it. The remote is small and very flimsy, if I don’t accidentally break it, I’m definitely going to lose it. Add a button to cycle through the modes. 3) No memory function. This is the worst part and almost deal breaker. You turn it off it does not remember the setting you last had when turned back on.. Which would not be so bad if the default setting wasn’t a kind of demo mode. It alternates between red, green then blue, never all at the same time, why is that the default? The default should be all at once in normal firefly mode. So every night it comes on, I have to find the tiny remote and press the red, then the green, then the blue button. Annoying and completely unnecessarily burdensome. So eventually the tiny flimsy remote will break or I’ll lose it and it will be stuck on demo mode forever. I thought about docking two stars for lack of memory since it’s such a drag, however the light show is truly awesome once I set it to show all RGB and the price is reasonable if I have to buy a new one every couple of years because I lost or broke the tiny flimsy remote … so 4 stars. Bottom line, I recommend it, just know the pitfalls and extra work you have to do to make it look awesome (as the default should have been) because of no memory and stupid demo mode default setting.

We bought 2 other projectors and returned them- this one is light years ahead of the others- water/weather proof, the strength of the laser lights is phenomenal. And this was right around the same price as the underperforming ones. It was easy to set up and looks great!

I love this ocean wave light! The best part is the memory of last setting. It’s bright with many color options!

We aim this into our trees and they sparkle like a starry night. Our yard looks so pretty at night now our neighbors purchased the same model to light up their yards. The lights aren't super bright, though, so turning on a porch light kind of cancels them out. We set it for all 3 colors on slow speed and the sparkles spread out pretty far. The timer shuts off after 6 hours. It was easy to program.

Ordered this projector light for my house and yard for the holidays based on other great reviews. arrived quickly and packaged fine. Smaller than I thought but size didn't matter. Played with it inside and figured out the remote. Has many options with sizes and patterns and red, blue and green options. Has nice long cord. Took it outside after dark and OH MY GOSH! IT LIGHTS UP MY ENTIRE HOUSE, YARD AND TREES! Will be awesome for our hugh halloween graveyard and for Christmas as well ! I am picky about my holiday lights and this projector far exceeded my expectations! Love it so much and the trick or treaters will too! If you want an excellent projector this is the one to buy!!

Is a nice set, it works well. Thinking about buying a second set to cover the side of my house.

I am very happy with the unit. The laser light coverage is very good and of high quality. My only criticism is that the six options available with the push buttons are basically all the same and the projected red light is minimal. I am impressed by the high quality of the laser light and have ordered another one.

Beautiful and bright! I love having a choice of blue, red, and green lights. The only annoying thing is that every time you turn it on, it has reset to the automatic cycle setting. Fortunately, there’s a handy remote you can use to set it to how you want it to look.
