This set of two wooden palettes is perfect for amateur painters like me. I use mine for acrylics, and the paint mixes beautifully without soaking into the wood. There’s plenty of space, and the palette is so light (yet durable) I can easily hold it while working at an easel. Also, there’s no cleanup necessary. The paint dries on it, and I can either use the space around the dried paint or even mix new paint on top of the dried paint. With two in the set, I left one at my mom’s so we can paint together. One of the best values I’ve found — I couldn’t paint without it!

Simply easy

Wife is a professional artist part-time, surprised her with these yesterday. She loved them! She noticed right off they were super thin and light BUT strong. I am going to lay down a coat or two of super clear transparent high end acrylic for protection. She love the size and placements of the "cutouts." I gained a bunch of Brownie points.... Happy wife happy life. Not bad for $5.00 bucks! :-)

I liked that this tray was easy to hold and allows me to mix colors however it was smaller than I would like. Also concerned about the durability as it seems to be made of wood and will work upon cleaning with water.
