I don't know why this dress got such bad reviews. It's actually very beautiful and very good material. Only thing I can say negative is the sizing is tricky. I ordered a 14, which was a little big around the breast area. I also ordered a ten that fits better, but a little snug around the waist. I must return one.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I have a pretty small figure, so it fit almost no problem. The only issue is the chest measurements; I ordered the smallest size but it was just a teeny bit too big because I only have bra size 34B (US). However, it was not enough to make the dress uncomfortable, and if you wear a slightly padded bra everything works out fine! I felt very beautiful and classy wearing this dress on a date. It is so elegant just like in the picture, wrinkle resistant, and very high quality. If you are considering buying this dress, I would recommend it! The shape could flatter almost any body type in my opinion and can be used for many different occasions.

Beautiful dress but, unfortunately had to return it. This dress is not made for petite women I'm 5.3" 105 lbs. The dress was very loose on me and went almost to my ankles.

Gorgeous and classy dress but the shoulders and arms were way too tight for me. I wear a 14-16 and ordered this in a 16. My big size is all shoulders and very little bust, so it didn't work. I had ordered 5 options for a party and this one was my favorite. But since I couldn't even zip up past the shoulder blades, it was a no go. I am 5'9" and this hit right about the middle of my knee. While being quite modest, something about the way it fits is EXTREMELY sexy. I am still really bummed that it didn't fit and I had to return it.

Really lovely design, simple but elegant and timeless looking, will be a closet staple. Based on the existing reviews I first bought a size 6 but that turned out to be much too large, as did size 4...I eventually ended up with the size 2 (!) which fit perfectly. I don't have other maggy londond dresses to know if this would be my usual size in this brand. For reference, i am 5'2" and about 125lb and have measurements 33, 27, 37. Overall I would say this dress fits bigger than expected because i'm size 4-6 usually in other dress brands.

I absolutely LOVED this dress. I got many compliments on it, BUT the zipper would NOT stay up at all. I originally ordered in a size 10, but it was too snug in the breast area, so I returned it for a size 12. The dress fit me great and was even a little big. There was no reason for the zipper to keep falling other than a faulty zipper. My husband had to be on “zipper patrol” and keep zipping me up all night. So disappointed!!!!

Bought this dress as a last minute alternative to wear to a dressy retirement party. in my mid 50's, I was looking for a classy evening look, not too clingy or short. The material is heavy enough that it provides some structure, (ie, doesn't cling to every bulge, but still shows off your shape). I am between sizes, so I went with the larger size, based on other reviews. This was a very good choice, as the dress fit perfectly. I did receive many compliments on the dress. The only negative for me was that the back zipper is exposed, would have preferred a hidden zipper, and I did have to trim a couple of loose threads.
