Chlorella

I’ve been taking this organic Chlorella product I’d say for the last 8 or 9 months. I try to take it during the night with one or two capsules of G.I. Detox (which has activated charcoal -> Chlorella itself doesn’t contain any activated charcoal). I recommend taking these tablets with a full glass of water. Yes, the smell isn’t great, but who really cares? You swallow the smelly green tablets, it’s no biggie. It’s not like you need to suck on them like a lozenge.., most Chlorella supplements aren’t pleasing to the smell. It kind smells faintly like lawn/green juice.As for the detox ability, I’d say that when I take it with the activated charcoal (“G.I. Detox”), it helps to kill off the dead “dandruff” that you shed and need to purge (both during and post) Lyme antibiotic pulse treatments. Detoxing during and post Lyme treatment is critical and it’s SO crucial to healing or feeling better from Lyme...Also, Burbur and Pinella organic tinctures (from Nutramedix) a few times a day/as needed also help tremendously for this daily detox. I have Bartonella & Babesia along with general Lyme disease, and these Chlorella tabs are a once-daily mainstay to help ease or eliminate the die-off bodily reaction from killing off those pesky spirochetes using the prescribed antibiotics. I do notice that I feel a little better within a few hours after taking them, but that could be a placebo effect, who knows. I was prescribed and took 4 tabs daily in October through December (2021) after being exposed to mold from my window A/C units. It completely cleared up my mold exposure symptoms within a month or two.I generally take Chlorella for detoxing and amino acids. More studies are needed, but from what studies are out there, they seem to indicate that Chlorella has lots of antioxidants, reduces the body’s inflammation levels, lowers blood pressure, enhances immune function, improves blood lipid levels, lowers cholesterol, improves blood sugar levels (lowers blood sugar levels), supports liver health, eases digestion (reduces bloating), promotes eye health, and greatly helps the body heal naturally from mold exposure and respiratory infections. Chlorella contains many nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and omega-3 fats. Exact quantities may differ among brands. Because chlorella has a hard cell wall that humans cannot digest, it’s recommended that you take it as a supplement to reap its benefits.I bought this brand because of the quality control measures, it’s made in the U.S., not China (where it’s not really regulated and who really knows what goes into it). I like the fact that it’s non-GMO/organic, which is so important when you’re trying to detox effectively. Anyway Lyme warriors, keep the faith and remember to detox so you can feel better!

Self admitted BioOptimal fanboy here - but there is a reason. The stuff is legit. I buy it all - and I use it all. I love the fact that it is certified USDA Organic, which adds some real objectivity to this very non-objective market sector. As anyone reading this knows - supplements can be a ton of marketing and be dubious at best. I do think the BioOptimal folks are good at marketing - the products are professionally packaged and advertised well. If I market to you USDA prime steak and there is zero marbling, you probably aren't going to take my claims at face value. I think the same holds true here. There is objectivity. You do feel the benefits - or not. I'm not going to get into the benefits of Chlorella here, but if you are reading this you likely already know them (detox, cardio health, etc).Suffice it to say that in my history of taking Chlorella and other supplements (I am a bit late to the game with Chlorella, admittedly) I haven't found better products for the money.

Easy to take, not smelly and overall satisified. However, I've only been taking them for a week, so not sure of results.

I have recently tried several new supplements that I like, but this had the most noticeable positive impact on me. That said, the first few days were a bit rough even though I started slow with only 1 tablet. I felt gassy and couldn't go anywhere as a result, so plan ahead of you are starting this for the first time. But after a few days I started to lose weight and fat around my waist, and I don't recall the last time I've had this much energy day after day. I increase the dosage to 2 tablets after a week and am not planning to take more because of the potential for iron build up. I feel so great that it's not worth the risk. Now my mom is taking is as well, she is in her late seventies so she had an adverse reaction for a a week but is starting to lose weight now as well. I also started giving it to my son who has ADHD and his symptoms have been reduces and he didn't suffer from any gassiness. I'm also giving a half capsule to my dog who has lots of allergies to see if it helps him out as well. My only concern is iron build up, so I might try taking it every other month or less frequently as some point. But overall I'm thrilled with it and wish I discovered it 15 years ago when I first started feeling sluggish and putting on a little weight each year.

True story! I had 11 years of chronic environmental exposure to PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls) during childhood but wasn't aware until several years ago. I knew I wasn't well and my brain wasn't functioning properly, as well as having damage to vital organs, and started heavily researching health effects of PCBs. They store in fat cells and when those cells would break down (one way was weight loss), they would enter my bloodstream and I'd be a mess, gastrointestinal wise and mental. I started taking this particular chlorella one month ago as recommended by a neuropsychiatrist and my brain is truly clearer and my memory has improved greatly. I do have a little more energy, too, and am sleeping better. Of course, I can't guarantee that this is binding to the PCBs and causing them to be properly excreted but it would be one heck of a coincidence. I'm sure the nutrients are helpful anyway but if you know or suspect you've been exposed to toxins, I would highly highly recommend giving this a try. I haven't felt this well for many years and am very thankful.

Cant tell if its doing anything yet

Starred taking these at 37 weeks pregnant to take toxins out of my body to prep for breastfeeding. I’m taking three a day and am 2 weeks pp. my breast milk is super sweet, and full of the fat my babe needs. I’m also vegan so that may contribute as well. I take three tabs a day with 1 tbsp of Hawaiian spirulina and often add the tabs to my blender and consume in an açaí bowl. I have purchased two more bottles of this and will keep buying.
