Idk, it sits in my trauma kit. It's a halo seal. Since I haven't been shot in the chest (Hopefully never need this), I can't really say how well it works. lol

Very high quality adhesive, large coverage area and great product overall.
Very high quality adhesive, large coverage area and great product overall. If you don't have a specific need for this and you're buying it for part of an IFAK this is a great addition. You never know what's going to happen in this crazy world and having this item can really save the day. It can be used for other things than just a chest deal. It will work perfect if that is the issue but can also be used to held a Celox pack over a sever cut or any other kind of rough edge open wound. It really should be in any well stocked trauma kit. I have one in my backpack that I carry daily and one at home. They very light and take up almost no space. You can never have too much first aid gear, you never know when you'll need it.

Excellent product
Have used these in ER without any problems. Now I'm adding these to my carry kit. Hope to never use them but trust them explicitly.

Stored in my GSW kit
I cant say too much, as Ive luckily never had to use them. However, if you check out some YouTube videos, you can see how theyre applied, and learn this way. Opening the product shouldn't be an issue, and I know a lot of guys in the field who will open the package, to get to them faster in an emergency. Our instructor advised that in an emergency, they can be hard to tear open, especially with hands already covered in blood. In todays world, you can always grab antibiotics if needed. I actually used these in a GSW kit I made with a food saver and basic items needed to treat a GSW. it stores perfectly in my plate carrier behind the plate itself. You can google "medical kit that stores in plate carrier" and see how basic some of these kits are. They retail for under $100, but you can make your own for almost half the price. I chose these because theyre highly recommended by todays combat veterans, and first responders in the field. Also, again, a few youtube videos and you'll get a look at how well they adhere, even with simulated blood in the way. Hope this helps!
