The SilkRd hammock with mosquito netting is simple and easy to setup. In my experience, it is comfortable for a single person under 6' in height weighing in at under 225lbs. The width is the limiting factor here, not the materials of the hammock.The included hardware is adequate- but know in advance that the suspension straps are non-traditional; they are not daisy chained, but are instead a single length of webbing with one loop sewn at each end.There is a single, double-acting zipper on one side of the hammock which functions well and is of good quality. The zipper is on the same side as the pocket, so it is easy to orient the hammock correctly during setup for proper entering and exiting.There is a bungee ridge line sewn into the hammock that supports the bug net. Be aware that the line is non-structural and, being elastic, will not support typical static ridge line accessories. Curiously, the hammock does come with a hook for hanging a lantern or such from the bungee ridge line, but in my experience, whatever you try to suspend from this line had better be feather-light, or else you can expect the item to sit in your lap along with the netting.When the hammock is being used with the bug netting, it is better to guy out the sides of the hammock using the supplied anchors, cord, and loops sewn on the hammock body rather than not. I actually had a better experience using my own elastic cord in place of the static cord for the guyouts, as the static lines tended to pull too hard on and release the anchors during entering/exiting.Customer service with SilkRd is above average! When contacted with a few questions, their team was quick to respond and, although a bit may have been lost in translation, their use of the English language was acceptable.I do recommend this product as an overall very good value!

This hammock is amazing! I love that the big netting is already attached. You can fully take it off but the hammock is reversible. The straps and hammock look and feel durable. The netting is held up by an elastic cord and the hand light rests on the cord. Everything packs nicely into the side bag and there are instructions that come with it as well. Overall I am thrilled to camp in this hammock.

I purchases two of these hammocks for my two sons ages 11 and 12 to use when we go camping. It arrived as advertised, and we've been camping in the backyard all night twice already, and they've been using it in the daytime often to play in, all zippers still intact, no rips or tears in the netting or hammock material.This is a 9.5' hammock, so good size for them, but it isn't long enough to suit my 6' long self. The hammock comes with everything stated, and has an integrated ridge line that makes setting the hang easy.I only gave this product 4 stars because although it does come with tree straps as stated, the length and width of the straps are not shown in the description or specifications. These tree straps are sturdy, but the 1" width variety, and although I haven't measured them they are they shortest straps I have ever received. We have big trees in our yard, and so I had to get some rope in order to be able to hang one of the hammocks between two of the trees that I normally don't have do with my 11.5' hammock and 12' straps.The two 'ropes' it comes with is cord used for staking both sides of the hammock through some sewn-in guy line loops.But, overall for the price, I like it very much. It will be easy to set up at our usual campground where the trees are closer together and not as thick in diameter. It will work fine there. I was looking for a good, sturdy, end of summer hammock for some easy camping trips + my backyard hammock stand...and this went way beyond my expectations. It's super sturdy, large and roomy - and the netting stays nice and taught, even on my basic ikea hammock stand. So far I've had zero zipper issues, and the netting has kept out every little bug (which is a blessing when dealing with annoying mosquitoes in the mountains). SUPER happy with my purchase.

It's so nice to be outdoors in a comfy hammock with no bugs! This hammock seems to be comparable to others i have laid in but the added feature of the netting makes this the perfect hammock. It's not in your way, like hanging too low to your face like I thought it might be & the easy but sturdy zipper is great! I love this hammock!

I already have a hammock, but it did not have a net. I was planning a trip to the Boundary Waters, and frankly, sleep better in a hammock. The price of a net that needed to be rigged up separately from the hammock was about the same cost as a new hammock with an integrated net. This thing performed great! I could hear the mosquitoes all night long, but not once did I get stung while sleeping in my hammock.Great value!

Hello all,first off let me get this out first, this is NOT a double hammock, it is a single at best. I am 5'9" tall about 200lbs and this thing held me just fine. I do not recommend this to anyone thinking its a double. if 2 people try to use it, it will not hold the weight and it will rip. this hammock states it come with a net and a ridgeline to hold the Net up, mine did not have the ridgeline so the net hung down on your face. however for a single use person it works, I end up giving this to my nephew because I was wanting a double, and he loves it and uses it regularaly. again if you are searching for a double hammock this is not it. please be aware before purchase.

Have used it on several backpacking trips and it's a great product to use. I only give it 4 starts for comfort simply because I don't like sleeping in Hammocks in general but in rocky terrain it's the way to go.

I received this product for free in exchange for this post. This is my first hammock. I was interested in getting one because my children really wanted one for the basement. Their cousins have one in the basement and they thought it was neat. It is winter right now, but it will be useful in the summer because we often go picnicking and barbecuing. The mosquito net will definitely be useful.The price is good for the quality. It seems very durable and is comfortable. When packed it is small and easy to carry. It fits only one adult, but two young children can fit comfortably. The setup was very easy and it is easy to take down. The details mention that you can flip it and use it without the net. This is true, but the cord that holds up the net can get in the way once you flip it, as one of the previous reviewers mentioned. I solved this by simply placing the cord to the side, after that it didn’t seem to bother me. My kids had no issue with it either.What I really like is that the carrying bag is attached to the hammock. This does not seem to be mentioned in the details but you can see it in the image. This is an excellent feature so you don’t accidentally misplace the bag, a definite plus when your outside in the park and you have a bunch of other items and kids to deal with. Overall it is an excellent product. The only problem I am going to face if my kids are going to fight over who gets to use it when we go to the park.

Lightweight, portable, sets up in about 30 seconds.. this hammock was super cheap and is the BOMB. I decided not to follow my travel buddies in purchasing top quality $150 hammocks and extra $$ for mosquito nets etc.. because I tend to lose and break everything, and was going to be bumming around Central America like a hobo for months on end. I cheaped out and got this bad boy and NO REGRETS! I set up my hammock 10 times more than all my friends, because it was so hassle-free to set up, it became worth it to hang the hammock even if I was just going to be chilling in an area for an hour or so. It was comfy, I napped in it for an entire 10 day festival in hot hot heat and even left this thing strung between two palm trees for the entire fest blowing in gale force ocean winds all night and with many random people using it did not tear or rip!.. and the mosquito net is legit considering its built in.
