Replacing my standby alarm battery.
I purchased this battery for my home alarm system backup power source, my original was a 2.8 mah but I was told to replace that one with this 7 mah battery, which in the event of power outage this one would backup the alarm system for many more hours. I changed the battery myself, simply cut mains power, remove the old battery put in place the new one, be prepared to enter the alarm code, once new battery fitted turn the mains power again. Now if it is working properly when the mains is turned off the alarm will not sound.

Junk quality
A couple of months into use inside a house alarm (essentially a permanent standby mode) this battery is returning faults and needs to be replaced again...
