Nice but small. Easy to adjust
This is a nice portable seat but very small. It is adjustable and actually works great for playing guitar as well.

Not As Adjustable As Expected, But Works
My daughter recently started piano lessons, and because she's much smaller than anyone else playing the keyboard at the house, we needed an adjustable seat. This was a straightforward option, and it arrived nicely packaged. There was a shrink-wrapped cover on the seat itself which probably could have even been left on, if desired. It was easy to set up; however, there were really only three settings. I assumed that there would be more than that as an adjustable seat. Changing the level requires you to pull out a bolt, thread it back through two holes in the metal frame, and then re-attach the nut. Now that it's set, it probably won't be changed. It's not something as simple as twisting or sliding a piece. We did manage to get it to a usable level (with the help of some tiny footstools), and she's been able to use it for practice.

Three height level adjusment - portable and lightweight
I have knee issues and wanted to find a small stool to use at outreach activities. This bench folds up for storage. The legs pop out and fold flat, which make it easy to pack and carry. There are three holes to adjust the bench height. The top height it is level with a dining chair seat. The bench legs have rubber caps to stabilize it. It fits in small places, which is helpful for my purpose. I can sit behind or on the sides of our folding tables at events. Convenient, lightweight, and compact. Reasonable quality for the price.

Nice Piano Bench That’s Not Just for Keyboards
I got this stool for the Casio keyboard that I have in my music room at home. However, as soon as my wife saw it, she decided it would be perfect for the little computer desk that she uses in the corner of our family room. Once she tried it out, I realized that I had lost all hope of actually using this little piece of furniture myself. The stool seems pretty well made with steel legs. It has a rated weight capacity 260 pounds. The fittings that hold the legs to the seat top are made from some sort of plastic/nylon type material but seem quite strong. It comes completely assembled and just needs to be unfolded to use, which is easily done. Folding for transport or storage is also easy. The stool is height adjustable with three settings. It came in the middle position, which turned out to be perfect for our needs. Changing the height can be done without tools; just unscrew a knob and move the pivot bolt. I discovered that the pivot bolt fits quite snugly and that it was easier to disconnect the legs from the removeable side of the mounts and move the pivot bolt before reattaching the legs to the bottom. The seat has a nice vinyl covering and a decent amount of padding for butt-comfort. When I received the stool, the vinyl on the seat had a clear plastic film on it for protection. This brings up my only real criticism of this stool. The clear plastic film was stapled between the vinyl top and the vinyl that covers the bottom. I basically had to cut the plastic film off with a razor knife and scissors, which required a lot of care to prevent cutting the vinyl covering itself. You can see in one of the pictures I uploaded that some of the film remained on the bottom. I felt that it was not worth getting it all off due to the possibility of damage. Minus one star because of this.Overall, though, this is a pretty nice stool for the price and I may have to consider getting one that I’ll actually use myself.

Better than a drum throne, very portable
I picked up a drum throne to use for guitar practice because I just couldn't find a guitar stool that was compact or affordable enough, the most highly recommended ones were never in any store where you could try them out.But the drum throne was entirely too wobbly for my likes. I still use it because it's handy, but now that I got this folding piano bench, I'm a lot happier using this. It has a wider seat and doesn't wobble near as much, there is a slight bit of movement under me, but nothing like before, so I'm pretty happy with this.It sets up easy, takes up minimal space, and is light enough to grab with one hand and move around. You can't store music in it like the larger piano benches you might be used to, but I don't know how much people do that anymore anyway. I have a little satchel with various choir folders for different classes I'm in, and that's how my fellow students seem to be managing their music as well, so storing music inside a piano bench might be a thing of the past. I do have to wonder if I'm supposed to peel the plastic off that it comes covered in, but that plastic is stapled underneath the faux leather, so I'm not sure. It looks like in the picture that there's a matte finish instead of the shiny plastic, but there were no instructions saying whether that's for shipping purposes only or supposed to stay on there. I guess I'll peel a little off the underside and try to guess, but I wish they'd mention it in the product contents.Other than that, this is working out great for me and I can well recommend it.

a nice place to place your bottom
I needed a folding bench for my small studio so when I saw this, I decided to give it a try. It works very well and I like how compact it gets when folded—I can just tuck it away when not in use, so it is a great space saver. And even though it is compact and folds, it is very sturdy. My only complaint is that the seat material itself seems rather thin, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up in the long term, but other than that, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bench.
