Been using this for just over a week now and has been brilliant, used for drying clothes and have had it on 24/7 (in smart humidity mode) it has been easy to setup and use via the app. We have a 2 bed 2 bath flat with wooden flooring, all doors open and the dehumidifier set to 50% target and running the smart humidity. The features are great and work really well. Meaco support are fast and helpful. Drying speed - I found 4 hours to be a good time. Noise level - very quiet, the fan system being brushless makes sure for a smooth running sound you can notice it but it's really a smooth elairflow sound and When the dehumidifier is doing its thing the motor is very quiet. Design - looks great, very smart and the LCD screen is clear and bright. Size - great size for any size property. Energy- you can easily keep it on 24/7 it will every 30 minutes turn on the fan to detect the moisture level so it's not on all of the time, haven't noticed any difference is our electricity bill but will notice more over time but it's very cheap to run. Thoughts - Overall an amazing dehumidifier, you get what you pay for and is one that you will not be saddened to have bought. Another great Meaco product.

I bought this mainly to deal with damp and condensation, and it’s made a huge difference. It pulls a surprising amount of moisture from the air, especially in laundry mode, which really helps clothes dry faster indoors. The added HEPA air purifier function is a big bonus. The air in the room feels cleaner and fresher, and it’s helped reduce that musty feeling you sometimes get in colder months. It’s easy to use, and the smart humidity mode is genuinely useful as it automatically maintains a comfortable level without needing constant adjustment. The app control is also handy for checking or changing settings remotely. Noise levels are low enough for everyday use, even in the evening, and it’s more efficient than I expected for something this powerful. It’s a bit of an investment, but it feels well built and has been one of the most effective appliances I’ve used for managing damp and improving indoor air quality.

After having this dehumidifier a few weeks now and testing it i tried a 10 litre meaco same model but 10 litre and it just wasn't extracting inhave a one bedroom old style flat so it can get high humidity very quickly i tried a 12 litre pro breeze it was extracting but it just kept cutting of after every 10 minutes so had to return both meaco recommended the 20 or 25 litre so I went for the 20 litre and it has been very good it dries things fairly quickly it brings humidity down fairly fast im not sure how it would be in a house but in a 1 bedroom old style flat it's very good it can be abit noisy when first turning on sounds bit like a fridge freezer it's very cheap on electricity costs about 5p a hour you can also control it anywhere via the app so you can even be away from home miles away and it will control it via the app on your phone with is a very handy feature it also give out bit warmth in the home I would recommend this 20 litre size meaco brand as it doesn't cut of even at lower temperatures

Watched all the YouTube reviews on dehumidifier's, The meaco was highly rated. With the meaco two having WiFi interaction with home hub (alexa/Samsung smart things etc) This was my choice. And very pleased... The hepa filter cleans the air while dehumidifying. Or even cleans the air if like in summer you don't need the to dehumidifier the air. The auto off when reaching the desired level is a brilliant money saver. This turns off the dehumidifier when it reaches you set level. Unlike many others that run without doing anything. Noise level very low, and even lower in night mode. All function easy to follow with a lock screen function for little fingers. In my view this is while not the cheapest is the best for the money, Purchasing in the summer month availability and price are usually cheaper.

purchased the arete 2 --20 litre model recently to update an older EBAC model that I have had for many years and has given great service---this so called MEAKO DRY most advanced latest model is pathetic--you need a PHD in computer science to use it and the controlling buttons are a JOKE I'm afraid that this item is very shortly going to be returned as it is not fit for purpose--had it on for 6 hours in a recently purchased house and checked the tank to see how much water was being removed --these premises had been empty for months----not a teaspoon full and blowing out ice cold air--could not get the controls to work having the instruction booklet at my side and also watching a video on this machine---will not touch any MEAKO product in the future---and this thing cost me £300--what a complete waste of money---LOOK ELSEWHERE! as this machine is definitely not user friendly by any means.

Cannot believe how much moisture it pulls out of the house! Easy to use, pretty quiet on normal settings. Easy to empty and has handle on top of tank to carry to the sink to do that. Was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but is worth the extra cost but worth it for the speed of drying my laundry and house doesn’t feel as cold as it did before

I chose this product due to my allergy to a mixture of dampness and some allergens (TVOC) that come from cigarettes’ smoke and burnt plastic litter polluting the air at the surrounding area of my location. An air purifier for large room was not enough to purify the polluted air getting to my bedroom. So I decided to buy another device as additional purifier. I am satisfied with my choice of purchase of MeacoDry Arete Two 20L Dehumidifier+Air Purifier.

Love this. It's absolutely astonishing how much water it can remove from a house that doesn't seem to be all that damp. My wife especially loves the laundry drying operation. It's almost impossible to get washing dry in the winter, but this can dry laundry in 6 hours at a cost of 30 pence. I would have given this a five star rating except for the fact that on emptying the water tank you tend to get water on the floor, but I've gotten used to it now. Therefore, I would strongly recommend you buy this product.

Works very well. A couple of things to know: It's very quiet, making only a soft hum. The 20L dehumidifier will be good enough for a 70m2 (3 room) apartment/home. It struggles a tiny bit to keep the humidity down with this size, but it still works. Our home sits between 69 and 74% humidity in winter and it pulls the humidity down to 60% in a day or 2 after starting to use it, which is cozy. You'll need to run it for a week straight at first. It initially pulls humidity out of the air within 3 or 4 hours, then it starts to draw the moisture that's been absorbed by furniture, bookcases, carpets, cabinetry. It takes a while, but you notice the change within a few hours. The heating bill has been slashed, it makes the home much more cozy and liveable in winter.

I originally bought this because drying clothes on radiators was causing mould in my room, but the benefits have gone way beyond just fixing the damp: Health & Comfort: As someone living in Ireland, the humid days used to trigger joint pain since using this, that pain has cleared up. Warmth: The room feels much warmer now. I no longer have that 'cold' feeling when getting into damp sheets at night. Noise Level: It’s quiet enough that I can sleep with it running on 'Smart Humidity' mode (55%). When I’m out of the room, I crank it to 36% for a deeper dry. Value: Don't waste your money on the small, cheap 'Peltier' technology dehumidifiers. They don't work for real problems. Save up for this one instead. The 5 year warranty is the cherry on top; it’s very rare to find that kind of extended protection on these devices. Highly recommended for anyone struggling with humidity

Eficiente. Me costó decidirme, pero después de buscar y comparar muchos equipos del mercado, me decante por este Meaco y estoy encantada. Cuando decidí comprar este equipo no lo hice por capricho, sino por necesidad y por tanto tenía que ser un equipo que no supusiese otro dolor de cabeza, como era pensar en el recibo de luz. Debo decir que lo he tenido puesto prácticamente 24/7 y por su nivel de ruido mínimo, efectividad y mínimo gasto energético, estoy muy satisfecha con la compra.

This dehumidifier works well. I live at the coast where the humidity is very high. The drainage pipe is a super feature, otherwise the water would need to be emptied a couple of times per day.
