Might be a great camera.
I believe this is a great little camera. However, I bought it in the summer to take with me abroad and give as a Christmas present. Unfortunately I did not look inside. There was no battery in the box with the camera and other gear . The camera could not used until a battery was ordered. Thus was very disappointing as we were away and wanted to use the camera at Christmas.

Great Photo Camera for the Price
Great camera at a good price. I do inspection so this does not see water but, because of this it is somewhat intrinsically safe. It is hard to find cameras with these specs for this price. It has a macro setting and provides enough pixels for my report pictures. There used to be a lot of cameras in this price range with similar specs but now they are at least $200 more and this one takes a good picture with macro and has good memory capacity. Don't use it for video, so I can not comment on that aspect, but am almost sure that is why it is cheaper.

Camera leaks!
The third time I took this camera snorkeling, it leaked and stopped working. When I got it, I thought that the seal on the battery compartment looked kind of flimsy, compared to my previous Olympus tough camera, and I was right. And the warranty excludes water damage! Don't buy it!

I bought another one in spite of!
The instruction book (I deliberately say book) as it's no use as a user guide. Using Gemini plus experiment I finally have it set up. Had a ricoh equivalent..same camera but pricier...and it works very well in my tough marine survey market. Finally after 3 years of abuse the review button has become intermittent. In spite of un-instructions and a failure I happily bought a replacement.
