What an ingenious tool. I don’t know how I ever managed without it before. It easily snaps onto the 5-gallon bucket most of us use for home projects. It does a great job scraping whatever material off whatever tool that you need to keep clean after every new stroke, wipe, spread, or other application technique. And when you need to put the tool down for a minute, just put it on Bucky. His strong magnets hold it tight and it will not fall off so you won’t get your work area all soiled and then clean up’s easier. Bucky even helps with the end-of-the-day clean-up when I snap him onto a bucket of clean water. Lastly, I clean Bucky, and that’s easy too since he’s mostly flat. He doesn’t rust. Oh, I should also mention that the part that snaps on the bucket has 2 slits to be more flexible so Bucky even fits when I’m using a bucket liner! Thank you for making this tool I can’t live without.

I wish I had this years ago. I do some diy tile projects around the house and love this little device. It saves time, saves thinset and grout from being wasted and helps get my projects done faster. Highly recommended. Buy one and you will be happy you did.

I'm a graduate degree'd engineer who greatly appreciates useful, well designed tools and also the owner of a handyman business who uses his tools daily to earn a living. With that as background ...A major focus of my handyman business is tile installations, mostly bathrooms and backsplashes. I've used this Bucky Tools trowel scraper on one job so far and it performed exactly as advertised. It clips on the rim of a 5 gallon bucket and stays in place. The flat metal edge of the scraper is perfect for scraping (doh!) leftover thinset off a notched trowel. That's what I used it for any way... I found the magnets particularly helpful in providing a secure place for trowel storage. The design and materials are both "fit for purpose". So, all is rainbows and puppies with the Bucky scraper, except ...Although useful it's one more tool to keep track of in my bin of tile tools and, to be honest, it's one more thing to clean at the end of a work day. It provides some useful functions, but I'm unsure at this point if those useful functions are useful enough to make keeping track of it and cleaning it worthwhile. Also, my example was delivered with quite a few edges sharp enough to be dangerous. The metal scraper is stamped from a flat plate of stainless steel and pretty much all of the edges of the stamping are sharp enough to cut flesh. A few minutes with a standard and needle file took care of the issue, but it was disappointing to see on a tool that's on the expensive side for something so simple.So, 4 stars from this reviewer based on the fact that it does what it claims, is well design and exhibits good build quality. Whether the provided function is worth the fuss and expense to you only you can decide.
