Item as described, ordered again!
We needed replacement pull switches for our fans at work, these were 100% as described, no issues and have been installed almost a week. We did order a second pair as we found another fan needing a new pull switch. Very happy with these purchases!

Easy to install_ watch color coded wires & numbers
Excellent value. The switch model # superceded an old number.Design is a little different_ the color code wires hooked up exactly the same as old style switch.Installation was a breeze.I personally covered the bare wire with a touch of solder. Much better connection and easier to push into switch wire hole.Im convinced it would be very hard to push bare wires into the holes (locking tab in hole is strong)Its ment to hold wire in place_ but cannot hold wire if cannot get wire into the hole.Thats where a light coat of solder comes into play.Twist the wires_ then apply solder_ stiffens wire enough to push in hole. Some people complained about wire hookup. And which wire goes where ?Unscrew the switch from the fan_Then Just cut the defective switch out_meaning cut wires off next to the switch_ leaving a little of the color-coded wire attched to old switch. When buying a replacement switch_ look for number or letters on back of switch_ the number will line up at each wire attachment hole.Make sure the number are in same order & placement as the old switch.Thats where the color coded wires comes into play. When installing new switch_ look at the number and install the fan or light wires in same order_all around switch. When all connected_ it should look just like the old switch that is bad.If I didn't already have a soldering iron, flux, and solder.I would merely twist the bare wires to stiffen them at bit_ then try installing into the holes.I forgot to mention_ there is a wire stripping mark on back of the switch. You are to cut each wires cover off_ no longer than mark on back. Then each exposed wire is to be twisted around.Just compare to the othe wires. Its real easy.If bare twisted wire will not go into the switch hole.Go buy small electronic soldering tool kit.Look it up on YouTube for how-to Soldering Videos.Buy you a small role of wire to practice with_Then you'll be installing that switch in no time.May God be with you. My blessing to you.

It worked! I replaced the 4-Wire fan switch...
I am not an expert at home repairs, but I can figure out electrical issues. My 3 speed fan stopped working on speed 2&3. I opened the fan and bought the identical replacement switch. My only issue was how to insert the wires. I pack came with 2 switches, I opened one of them and saw that the wires needed to insert the wires through the side.... not the top. Oh well! I didn't see any instructions.
