How wide is this basket?

17 wide, 18” high to rim, handles another 4”, sturdy and stable. I am using baskets in family room for seasonal pillows and throws.

Can the baskets be used on covered front porches for Mums? Can they get a little wet?

I'm not an expert on inside versus outside. However, my opinion is inside only for these rattan baskets. The basket is not treated to be waterproof. Even on a covered porch, they will get wet from any fog or a driving rain.
