Pixi Glow Tonic Balancing Face Toner Glycolic Acid for Radiant Skin Daily Brightening Toner Sample Size, 15ml/0.5fl.oz

They discontinued the toner I used for YEARS—Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner—so I went searching for a replacement. I tried SO many different products and spent A LOT of money trying to find something comparable. Nothing came close until I found Pixi Glow Tonic. This actually makes a noticeable difference in my skin. It exfoliates well, my skin feels smoother, and it looks brighter and more even. At the same time, it doesn’t dry my skin out, which I really appreciate in an exfoliating toner. It does contain witch hazel, which I like, but I’ve used witch hazel by itself and it doesn’t do much of anything for my skin. There’s definitely something about the combination of ingredients in this that works much better for me. This is the ONLY toner I’ve found that works well enough for me to replace my old Neutrogena toner. I’ve even shared it with my sister and friends, and they love it too. Pros: * Exfoliates well * Leaves my skin noticeably smoother * Skin looks brighter and more even * Doesn’t dry my skin out * Actually makes a noticeable difference Cons: * More expensive than my old toner * Contains added dye/coloring, which I really wish they would leave out Overall, after trying a ridiculous number of alternatives-some cheap and some super expensive, this is the one I keep buying. In fact, I stopped search after this one. It’s not cheap drug store price but it’s not luxury price either, and I could definitely do without the added coloring, but it actually does something for my skin—which is more than I can say for most of the toners I tried.

Original review: 5 stars I have only used this product for three days, so I will share an update in case anything changes as I use this product long-term! I have very dry skin that is prone to acne and redness. I mostly struggle with big pores and blackheads but I typically also have some pimples close to my mouth or on my forehead. Enter the Pixi Glow. I have used it five times now (mornings and evenings), but it seems like people vary a lot in how they use it. Some seem to use it twice a day, others once a day, and others yet use it only a few times a day. I will let you know if I end up using it less often! For now, I have not experienced any dryness or shedding/ peeling of my skin (however, I do moisturize very heavily due to my dry skin, so that might have helped). I don't know by which magic this tonic works but I am seeing a huge difference in my skin on the third day already! No redness, no pimples, and smaller pores. It's crazy - I have struggled with my skin since puberty and my skin has not looked this nice in more than a decade. I am seriously in love. If I notice side effects, or if it stops working, I will be back. For now, I am very happy to have given it a chance. BTW, the smell is very pleasant - reminds me of roses or other flowers. Updated review: 4 stars After achieving amazing reviews at the stars, I was pretty disappointed once the toner started to lose its magic. One week in, it seemed to stop working for me. I now only use it once a day (in the evening) and feel like using it more sparingly (I originally used it twice a day) works better for me - I still see some results every morning when I wake up but they are not at great as when I first started using the toner. I still don't have any issues with dry skin but I do moisturize twice a day, so it could be because of that. Will leave new review if anything else changes.

Tenia ganas de probar el glow tonic de Pixi desde hace tiempo, por las reseñas y opiniones buenas de tanta gente y la verdad no me ha defraudado. Cumple lo que promete, deja la piel muy jugosa e hidratada, nada reseca ni tirante para ser un tónico. Tiene un 5% de ácido glicolico lo que le permite hacer unha exfoliación química en tu piel pero nada agresiva. Llevo mas de un mes usandolo y aún no va por la mitad, cunde mucho y los resulatados son visibles. Unifica el tono gracias a la exfoliación y mi acné a mejorado significativamente. En contra diré que comprarlo en Amazon es bastate más caro que en otras páginas especificas de cósmetica o en la propia web de Pixi by Petra.

I absolutely love this glycolic acid product. It’s a bit pricey, but it actually works. I used to use the e.l.f. Glycolic Acid Toner from their Supertone line, which was amazing — but since it was discontinued, I’ve been searching for something just as good. This product turned out to be even better! It helps fade hyperpigmentation, evens out my skin tone, and gives my complexion a beautiful, healthy glow. The scent is also pleasant (unlike the e.l.f. version). Highly recommend — 10/10!
