Lovely and fresh

Hated the slight fruity flavour at first. Use to and love tropical fruit flavours. But suck on this rock and you will have a mind blowing tutti fruiti experience! However I am now going to try one last brand. 3 in all then decide which I prefer.

It is not always easy to find what I call “Blackpool Rock” in supermarkets today and Amazon is a rich source for those of us with childhood memories. Each stick is 7” long by 0.6” in diameter (17.5cm x 1.5cm) so very small in Blackpool Rock terms - I remember some being 2’ long and 1.5” in diameter. At £9.99 for 15 sticks the price works out at nearly 10p per inch! So this is an indulgence probably most appreciated by those of us with fond memories of a simpler age before fluoridated water and E-numbers; eleven of which are on the label! If you are wondering what is printed through the length of the rock the answer is nothing. It is as silent as a rock. If you are also wondering what it tastes like; it is exactly the same as I remember pink rock tasting.

Perfect for my sweet toothed colleague, who crunched through a stick in about 5 minutes! He said it was very tasty and I found it much cheaper than anything I could buy in Brighton!
