can these be easily affixed to any bed?

This rail I have fixed to the wall beside the toilet and it is excellent there, and was easy to fix to the wall. I would not consider it for beside the bed, but I did get some very good bedrails, free from the NHS.

Do any internal parts rust, especially in the leg and foot? We have rust stains on our new wet room floor from poor design in an adjustable leg rail

The material is Powder Coated Mild Steel, which means as long as the coating remains intact and the steel is not exposed to water, then it wont rust. However, over the long term, the fixing screws/bolts will rust unless special fixings that do not react with water, are used.
