The biggest selling point on this mirror for me was that it is USB compatible! This unit comes with a USB cord but not the physical wall outlet plug. It can be plugged into any USB outlet for power. The mirror is brightly lit and holding down the power button decreases the intensity of light.

I'm returning this mirror! Very disappointing as I had really high hopes for it! First off let me tell you why I'm still giving this mirror 3 stars even though it's going back, and then I'll go over why it's not staying. I did a ton of research before buying this one. I researched probably 20-30 different mirrors and still decided on this one for one reason only. The lighting! I have a very dim lit room and needed a bright mirror for makeup application. This mirror gets 3 stars from me because the lighting was great. It met my expectations. It does offer better lighting then a lot of the other makeup mirrors because of the wrap around LED lights instead of just on the sides. So technically this probably would have been great for me if I wouldn't have ran into the following problems... This mirror is supposed to operate on batteries or USB. I put brand new batteries in it and it came on and everything went smooth and then 2 minutes later the lights dimmed and it would not go back to bright. I have to turn it off and back on, and if stays bright for about 30 seconds and then goes dim. If I plug it up, it works fine. But the cord is really short, so I've had to sit in the floor and do my makeup which you can imagine isn't the most comfortable. And then problem number 2 is when I try to tilt the mirror up to see myself in it, it will not stay put. I have to prop a box under it stay. It's very frustrating! So all in all it just did not work out for my needs. I feel as though there are plenty of other options around the same price point out there that should be able to give me EVERYTHING I need. I need a mirror I can give 5 stars to. Also, take into account the measurements of the actual mirror. It's about the size of my 8 inch tablet. it being on a stand gives the measurements a little bit of a boost, but the actual mirror itself is small! Even though I saw the measurements and knew what I was getting, it was just a little too small for my needs. I thought if this mirror provided me with sufficient lighting that I could handle a couple inches smaller of a mirror, but all in all the bad just out weighed the good in the end. If may be worth it to some people to have the extra LED lighting and u can deal with a couple hiccups, because again the lighting is on point! Can't say enough good about the lighting! But if this is what all of the makeup mirrors are like I'm going to just buy the LED strand lighting and wrap it around a Wal-Mart mirror and call it a day!

Excellent Product, very bright led lights. Better than most mirrors due to full wrap LEDs. The price is excellent. Shipping was extremely quick and well packaged. Build quality was also very good. The removable x10 mirror is very handy. I promise you won't be disappointed. I would definitely recommend this product.

It works

Bought this mirror as a Christmas gift for my 12 year old granddaughter who has never had a "personal" mirror. She loves it and it makes her feel more grown up plus gives her privacy in her bedroom away from the "family" bathroom!

My daughter loves this mirror - great lighting, portable, and very useful for both everyday makeup and stage makeup when preparing for plays and musicals. Great purchase!

This was everything I wanted. It is a good size and stable. I like having the three mirrors.
