Well, it feels kinda weird to be sharing this information with y'all, but here goes..... I have a bidet in both of my bathrooms. Once you have them, you will never go back, and you will miss them when you travel anywhere that doesn't have them. So, I follow a group called the DMC (Dull Men's Club) on social media and some of the members mentioned using "flannels" for drying off after a visit to the bathroom. This made me curious and prompted me to research this idea. I decided I liked the idea of not putting toilet paper into my septic system except for certain times about once a day, as needed. So, I bought a package of flannel wipes and, like with the bidet, I am dedicated to the use of flannels. They are reusable but require a place to store the used ones until you do laundry. And that is why I purchased this small trash can with a lid. I keep a liner in it and each time I use a flannel, I drop it into this little trash can and close the lid. There is not enough moisture on the flannel for it to get mildewed, so no worries there. When it is time to do laundry, I just remove the bag and dump the used flannels into the wash. When they are dry, I roll them up, like a roll of toilet paper, overlapping, like with tissues, and then I poke the roll of flannels into an empty tissue box with the center one pulled up, again like tissue. I just pull from the center as needed. So, all that said, this trash can is nice and small, the lid keeps my pets out of it, the storage is discreet, it provides a place for the tissue box of flannels to be placed on top, and it easily opens with just a slight press on the lid, and then closes the same way. It is perfect in every way for its intended use! The can is the right size and color is nice and goes well in my bathroom.

I needed a really small trash can for a really small bathroom. This does fit nicely. It is only plastic so not sure how durable it is. I like that it snaps shut but it feels like it could break easily. It was a little pricey for plastic. Easy to use. Just push the button and it opens then push lid down to snap shut. I would recommend this product.
