First packaging was very poor-only a piece of tissue wrapped around plate and top, flimsy cardboard box. I was so afraid that it had been damaged or dented. It wasn't, but I worried when I saw that box.Second, top only rests ON plate, so must lift whole thing (or bottom only) for transport.But it is BEAUTIFUL! Perfect color just like it was pictured on website. I will use mine mainly for display, as I have a trusty red and white one that does have those clips to keep the two pieces together. But this one is so classic. I looked at it for years, but refused to pay the high shipping cost.

Love this!! Not only does it look nice but it kept cake moist for a week. Seals tightly. Sturdy but I wouldn't carry it by handle.

Classic British design, will hold a standard 3-layer cake. I gave the overall 4 Stars because at the price point, and being shipped from England I thought it would be British made. It is not, it was made in China. For the price, I would not have purchased it if I had realized it was not made in England or the US. I will keep because it is charming but disappointed where it was made.

I love it. I got it to store the fruit cake for the holiday season. We age ours by feeding it a little brandy each month. This is perfect for the task!

Tiene el tamaño perfecto para cualquier nizcocho o pastel de molde redondo o de corazon. Los alargados tienen que ser pequeños para que quepa dentro. Pero es precioso para tener encima de la encimera. Color actual y muy vintage.

I bought this a few months ago and after using it one day I somehow put it in the dishwasher which did totally ruin it. Totally my misstake because it does say it isn't dishwasher-friendly. But i liked it so much i did decide to buy me another one, won't make the same misstake again! It is a good size, won't fit a high cake but is perfect for lower ones and other baked goods!

Per chi ama lo stile vintage è una vera chicca!! Bellissimo porta torta, robusto e non ingombrante. Si chiude a pressione grazie ad una guarnizione che è sì efficiente, ma io mi sento comunque più sicura a tenere una mano sotto la base quando lo trasporto. Ho scelto il color salvia perché amo il verde, ma ero molto indecisa perché anche gli altri colori erano deliziosi! Lo consiglio.
