Heavy, Well-Built Pedestals With Great Storage and a Really Useful Pull-Out Shelf
I bought two of these pedestals—one for my washer and one for my dryer—and I’m extremely happy with them. They’re very substantial and well built. Each one weighs around 80 pounds, so these definitely don’t feel like lightweight furniture that you’d be nervous about putting a washer or dryer on. They raise the machines about 19.6 inches, which is a great height for front-load machines and makes loading and unloading much more comfortable. There’s also a good amount of enclosed cabinet storage underneath for detergent, cleaning supplies, or other laundry items. One of my favorite features is actually the pull-out shelf above the cabinet. It slides out and gives you a platform to set a laundry basket directly in front of the washer or dryer. That’s super convenient when you’re loading, unloading, or transferring clothes—you can put the basket right underneath the machine instead of setting it on the floor and constantly bending over. It’s one of those features that seems simple but makes a lot of sense once you use it. I bought the black version, which comes with a gold handle on the pull-out shelf. I swapped the two small black cabinet knobs for gold ones to match the handle, and I think that little change makes them look even better. They look much more like a nice piece of furniture than a typical appliance pedestal. Overall, I really don’t have anything negative to say about them. They’re heavy, sturdy, functional, provide useful storage, and the pull-out laundry basket shelf is a great design feature. Unfortunately, we moved into a new house and with built-in cabinets that don’t allow enough height to keep them. After buying and assembling two of them, I would absolutely buy them again if they fit in my laundry room.

Great product and surprisingly good customer service.
Bought one of these for the washing machine last year. I wasn't sure if it would be stable enough, so I wanted to try it before buying a second for the clothes dryer. It was easy to put together and worked really well. It did walk a little on the laminate flooring - but that was easily fixed by cramming a rubber door stop under it. I bought a second one the following week - however since the first had sat in my garage for months before assembly, by the time I built it and ordered the second one, the design had changed. I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately put it right at no cost to me, which was really appreciated at not too common these days. The design is good, the laundry basket shelf is strong and convenient, and the storage space underneath is big enough for all my laundry stuff. Would definitely recommend the product and the manufacturer.

Excellent laundry pedestal.
I am very pleased with the purchase of this laundry pedestal. My dryer sits perfectly on this pedestal and makes loading and unloading the dryer so much easier. I love the pull out shelf that easily holds a laundry basket of wet or dry clothes. It also has a great storage cabinet under the pull out shelf. The pedestal is well built and easily balanced. It was also a good buy, not expensive.

Good
Instructions to assemble could have been better - but it works as expected and is worth the money.

Very nice pedestal for a GE compact dryer
This is the best $150 I've spent in awhile. This pedestal works very well in my limited space. The drawer and pull out shelf function very smoothly too. I was concerned when ordering about the flimsy type comments. I found this unit to be very sturdy and not flimsy at all. The good: 2. No damage to any parts. My parts inventory showed that extra screws were included for everything. 3. Good instructions. All parts labeled carefully. Diagrams were pretty good. Be aware you must follow the directions carefully to end up with a solid result. This took me a half day to assemble. 4. My 2026 GE compact dryer fits on this perfectly. 5. Adjustable feet to level this stand - they work perfectly. Could improve: a. Directions could be a little more clear. They work but I had to redo some assembly due to my mistakes. One "gotcha" is the handle on the pull out shelf. 2 screws are packaged with the handle. Do not use these as they wii not work! Use the other screws that are spoken to in the instructions. b. Drawer slides and assembly. More detailed instructions would be good. I have prior experience with these items but a first timer is going to be challenged. Overall, a good solid pedestal that gets the job done well - at a reasonable cost too

Good idea but bad execution
I was excited about this pedestal, but the experience wasn’t great. The shipping was slow (since it wasn’t Prime) and the return process was a hassle. I liked the idea of a pedestal with a pull-out shelf, hidden storage, and drainage. The elevation was nice but the 22-inch height made installation very difficult when lifting our washer. Assembly was not easy as it took almost two hours due to over 100 pieces, and while it seemed sturdy, the washer shook and vibrated too much during the spin cycle. Seemed like our washer would fall off. It just wasn’t made for a washing machine. When I tried to return it, they wanted me to pay for a high shipping fee, so I just kept it for the dryer. Sucks they don’t stand by their product if it doesn’t perform and expect me to pay to return. I later got an EZ laundry pedestal with pull out shelf for the washer, which was much better—easy to assemble (20 mins), no vibrations, and a matching size of 27 inches. I feel like the GDLF pedestal was a repurposed cabinet while the EZ Laundry Pedestal was actually designed to be a washing machine pedestal.

This is the one you want.
Arrived ahead of schedule. Packaging was damaged. One of the hinges was bent. Customer service shipped a replacement out immediately. This cabinet was better than I expected. Sturdy. Simple but lengthy assembly. Tools included. Price was right $200. Compared to OEM Manufactures pedestals it was $100 to $200 less. Storage space is much larger than manufacturers matching pedestals. All of the large bottles of detergent, softeners, bleach etc that I get from Sam’s fit easily in this cabinet. OEM pedestal’s storage drawers were too small to put anything in standing upright. Recommend that you measure the height of laundry products before purchasing the manufacturers matching pedestals. Chances are good what you are using won’t fit into OEM drawers. Tried to add photos with measurements, but can’t access my photo library in this review. I will try a different way to add them to review. If they are not posted that means I gave up.

Is it worth your sanity?
For the product alone 5 stars BUT Let me just say — this stand works great and saves my mom’s back from bending over every laundry day. But assembling it? That’s a whole different adventure. The instructions basically said “pay attention to the orientation” and left us to fend for ourselves like contestants on Survivor: IKEA Edition. We put it together, took it apart, put it together again — by the third time, I’m pretty sure it tested our marriage, our sanity, and our will to live. By the end, we had a beautiful, sturdy laundry pedestal and a newfound respect for professional furniture assemblers. 10/10 would recommend… just maybe have snacks, a therapist, and a bottle of wine ready before you start.
