I bought these pillows to replace some "cooling" (non feather/down) pillows that I had. These pillows arrive rolled up, but it didn't take that long for them to fluff up. My old pillows were entirely too soft, so I do like that these pillows are a bit firm - no more neck pain, no more back pain. I've had the most comfortable sleep ever from the first night I used them. I did buy pillow protectors and haven't noticed any feathers in the bedroom. These pillows are cooling, comfortable, and more importantly I don't hear any feather/quill crunch when I'm laying on them.

This pillow comes packaged in a vacuum sealed bag which compresses it to maybe half its size, so you have to unpack it and let it fluff up to its full size for a day or two. Once it does, though, it's nice and light and soft, and you can't tell it ever was compressed so much. My wife and I both tried it. She's a side sleeper and found it didn't work as well for her and said it needed a little more support for side sleepers. I'm a back sleeper and it worked perfect and has become my main pillow. It's plenty soft but has just enough density that it supports your head without causing your head to jut off the mattress at an uncomfortable angle. It also sleeps really cool, and I didn't find myself needing to rearrange it during the night in order to switch to the "cool side," which I often have to with some pillows. On the whole it's just a great pillow that works perfect for me.

The pillow arrived Vacuum sealed. Instead of waiting the 24 hours for the pillow to fluff up naturally I put it in the dryer for 20 minute on no heat. When I took the pillow out of the dryer it was fluffed up. I am using the pillow in my guest bedroom. We have had sleepover company and the positively commented on the comfort of the pillow. I recommend this pillow and would order it again.

Just not what I was looking for. The quality seems okay for someone who is looking for a low flat pillow. Good stitching and the filled with the entire feather which could be pointy at times.

I know it would sound oxymoronic, but this pillow actually feels stiff when it needs to be stiff and yet pillowy soft when it needs to be soft. Here is what I mean: The pillow is filled with both polyester and a down core. This means that the two types of fill materials will compress at a different rate when you lie down on it. The polyester is soft and remains soft for the life of the pillow, and the down core retains its core shape and stiffness to avoid the pillow collapsing and becoming flat eventually.The fabric used to encase the pillow is also of a good soft material. Of course you would place a pillowcase over it, but it is soft enough and smooth enough to lay your head on it without a high thread count pillowcase.Overall, this is a pillow I would buy with my own money and definitely recommend to others.

We've chosen down filling for our pillows, but this wrapped down filling is very nice. What I look for in a pillow is softness, I love a pillow that your head sinks into. Even though I might need three or four pillows, to attain the comfort level that I'm looking for,. This down-core pillow surrounded by polyester can work as the bottom pillow, and it only takes two down pillows to give the softness that I'm looking for. It makes the pillow pile perfect. I am happy with this pillow and plan to buy several more for other family members.

About two minutes in the clothes dryer after removing the item from its shipping packaging brought it back to full fluffiness. There's no need to include photo's for this review, the pillow is exactly as shown in the stock photo's from the manufacturer; big and fluffy.The comfort of the pillow is outstanding! It is well-made with strong seams, and not a single thread out of place. The barrier that prevents feathers from poking through the 100% cotton exterior works flawlessly, and not a single feather has yet to have poked through.This product is highly recommended! In fact, after testing this item for a few nights, I immediately purchased another set of two at my own expense.
