Oil is thick and nice smell

I'm reviewing Etimisa Organic Black Castor Oil, Cold Pressed, Glass Bottles, 2.02 Fl Oz, Pack of 2.This oil is pale yellow and smells mildly of castor beans. It's about the viscosity of extra virgin olive oil. It absorbed nicely into my skin after about 10 minutes or so which I find to be typical of castor oil.The dilemma is that the description and label say that this is cold-pressed black castor oil. Black castor oil goes through at roasting process, so it can't be cold-pressed. Both types are made from the same beans. Cold-pressed is simply that, pressing the beans without heat to extract the oil. Black castor oil is typically thicker and darker than this oil presents, so it seems more likely to be cold-pressed than black. (Discrepancy reflected in star rating.)That being said, it does work effectively. I mainly use it with wraps on my knees. I found this oil to work well with the wraps to absorb into my skin.This castor oil is labeled as organic, hexane free, extra virgin, and cold-pressed on the packaging.It comes well packaged. The two-pack is shrink wrapped, then each individual box is shrink wrapped, then there is a shrink wrap seal around the dropper lid to make it tamper-proof. Best of all it comes in an amber glass bottle with a dropper lid. I only use castor oil in glass containers. The MFD is 01/05/2024 with an EXP Date of 01/04/2027.There are two small brushed included for applying the castor oil. The dropper makes it easy to apply this oil to wraps.As a side note, this Etimisa Organic Black Castor Oil is made in China.

Good wuality

I’ve been using castor oil packs around my abdomen, with organic castor oil for years. I recently learned that organic black castor oil offers more benefits, so I was interested in trying this brand.The glass bottles arrived double sealed with droppers for easy application. Each bottle came with two brushes for eyelash and eyebrow application. The oil has a stronger smell and is a little darker than the regular castor oil I’ve been using. The bottle explains that the odor is from the black castor oil seed solids.I get abdominal pain whenever I eat, so I use the castor oil pack around my abdomen with a heating pad over it, to reduce the pain. I’ve noticed that since I started using this brand, my pain eases up more quickly. I also apply it to my eyelashes and eyebrows every night, and they are looking healthier and thicker.I appreciate that they comes in amber colored glass bottles, as plastic can leak harmful chemicals into the oil. It’s also non-GMO, hexane free and 100% natural. I would order this product again.

Did not like it at all to thick and sticky will not purchase again

Well this little gem has been fun to experiment with. There are sooo many uses for castor oil. I don't really understand the process of cold pressed or not, or what it exactly does to the product so my review is just an experince based review. In my experience so far this is a nice quality product. There is a smell but I don't mind it. I like that I can use it on my eyebrows and eyelashes, they do need some help lol. I am using this on my scalp also. I've found you can apply too much and get buildup, so just be aware. I also have joint pain from time to time and I read you can use this to help. I'll be trying this next time my arthritis flares up.
