My hens have mites around their back ends. Would you still apply this to their necks or can this be applied to rear near where mites are?

i would imagine that it doesnt matter, as it s absorbed in the skin. a bit like when you flea a dog and it shuld repell them. Try facebook groups for advice , i do hen house and fresh start for hen is good. hope this helps .ps my hen i used this on is mite free i also have a plastic coop , wooden ones harber the little mites .

Is it a one off treatment or does it need using over several days

I use ten days later, to eliminate any newly hatched creepies. In badly infected birds, I take in rescue, I will do a third time in another ten days. But usually just one treatment then another ten days apart.

How soon before this starts to work once applied to Pigeon's neck? Will mites and lice die immediately after biting my bird or just crawl off him?

I don't keep pigeons but assume it erradicates the same on all birds, the parasite has to bite/feed to take up the treatment, I usually see a difference after about 48 hours on poultry

How often can/should this be applied in order to kill even parasite's eggs, then as preventive from new infection?

Hens - Once a week for 3 consecutive weeks for an infestation. I removed all wood from their “home” which means lots less places for the besties to hide! DE powder on shavings. I spot on treat spring - before they start laying properly. I’ve not had to treat them for any infestation for a few years now…I find it’s all about environment.

Perfect. Does the job

Cheaper and effective alternative to red mite products

Did the trick at getting rid of red mites in chicken house (please note not licensed for this use but used after recommendation from vet friend). Happy with results and cheaper than alternatives. Easy to put onto birds. Will use again.
