XiLONG Aquarium Heater Fish Tank Heater - 300W for 200 to 300 Litres Submersible for Freshwater and Marine Tropical Heater

Seems to work just fine after a day use. However there box is in Chinese and there are instructions not that it's hard to understand what needs to be done with the product. My only niggle is the temp setting is out by a degree or 2. I had it set to 27c but water temp stayed at 25c. So I turned the dial to 29 and now it's sitting at at 27c. So my advise is turn the temp up 1c or 2c higher than needed. I cant really complain at this price is does what it needs to. 50w heater I 25l tank

Bought this as a replacement for a broken heater in my 58litre tank.New to fish keeping I was unsure on brands, quality, etc at the time. I knew I just needed something for the appropriate tank size.I've been very pleasantly surprised by the quality to date. I've never had issues with temperature since I began using it.The two suction cups are strong and secure it well to the the quarium.The knob used to adjust the temperature us relatively short which means it fits well into a smaller tank like mine.The power cable is also relatively long which may be handy to some users.The only con I've found to date is the clarity for setting the temperature. The guage is not all that accurate. I know I can work in an approximate warmth within 4 or 5 degrees with the hardy fish I have but for others, there maybe a need for something more precise or accurate.Overall though, this appears to be a good product which is good value for money.

Have baught 2 now due to it being so goodThenlight does go off when it has reached the temperature so don't worry it hasn't stopped working :)Only problem is the bottom plastic part won't say on but doesn't effect the use of the product

Needed a replacement after my old one split due to a silly accident. This one was a good price and, as other reviews have said, needs to be set slightly higher than the markings. That said, it holds temp well once set.

Edit: the heater has been in a drawer for a few months now as spare. I tried it now and even though it was set to 27° it didn't even heat to 15°. Do not buyBought as shorter alternative to my other heather, but I found I needed to select a temperature a few degree higher than i needed

An awful product. Looked good on arrival. Luckily I kept an eye on it, after 36 hours my tank was too hot. I brought the heater out to turn it down a bit and it was scolding hot, smoke coming out of it and almost burnt my hand. Now I have a few days with no heater whilst I buy a better quality one, do not purchase

I needed a cheap no frills heater to stop the coolant in my k40 laser cutter from over heating. Its -6 outside today and tbe 5gal coolant tank is sat at a nice 16 deg spot on for my needs

This heater broke in my tank after 8 weeks. I lost numerous fish do not buy unless its for a day or so not a long lasting product!
