No snake oil here, Silkland is legit and so are their products.
TL;DR - VESA certification is real, one of the best cables on Amazon for 4k content at high refresh rates. Worth the price!Silkland is actually VESA certified, which is shocking among a sea of cheapo cables which claim to be the best. Checking VESA's website indeed shows Silkland as a business partner, and the cables are worth the price. The build quality is great, but it's thick shielding make it not the most flexible out of the packaging. Most cables on the market will do fine for 90% of consumers, but if you're concerned about bandwidth for a 4K or higher resolution display, this is the cable and brand for you.

Definitely well worth every penny!
This is my second purchase of this HDMI cable, so I could add my Switch to my monitor. The first one was for hooking up my PS5 to it. I’ve never had any issues with either cable. The signal quality and speed are most excellent. The connection quality is spot on, too. No complaints whatsoever and do highly recommend. Value for money is definitely good.

Amazing
Great product. Go purchased a Google Streamer 4k and was wondering why my picture looked like junk next to the native TV apps. It was all because of the HDMI cable. Plugged this thick sob in and it's crystal clear

20Ft. Certified 4K HDR DTS Master Audio 120Hz. Works
This cable is thick. I am so glad it is thick and feels so heavy. It means there is just more. And whether that is quality or not remains to be seen. I have a 15ft run from the laptop next to my couch to the TV. I run the cable along the wall with as gentle of a bend as I can for the corner. This cable does not bend but you should not be bending HDMI cables in the first place. The cable is indeed certified. comes in a huge back with the QR code. It plugs in snugly. Not too tight and not loose at all. I fired up my laptop as the other cables just black screened when the refresh rate is set to 120Hz. One even shocked me. Fantastic. This cable worked great. The picture looks clean and if it's pumping 4K HDR 120Hz with 5.1 audio then I give this a pass. Now for longevity I don't know but it feels like a quality cable. I won't be moving the cable at all so it will just be up to the quality and manufacturing process. Overall, I'm really happy so far. I will update as time passes. Remember people. HDMI cables are not meant to be bent. There are like 12 copper wires paired and twisted around each other. The longer the cable the thicker the cable has to be. Imagine twisted pairs of wires being bent. You will break one or weaken on or two without knowing. The cable being thick is great. Go to goodwill if you want thin HDMI cords that can only pump 1080p. 4K and longer runs needs the certification and thick wires.
