Good product, major flaw
The product itself is well built. Smooth, reel has nice clic when you close it. But as you can see on the pictures, the spool has way to much space when it's fully extended. That creates an unforgiving trap.... A simple bad cast, a burst of wind or just a bad surprise if you're battling a fish and for a second you get a loose line, results are awful do to the fact that it's way to easy to get tangle... My first use, I got trap 2 times... Once I had to cut the line, bring manually my weight and my bait, than untangle my line in the spool... This is not my first rodeo. If you want to buy it, you will have to pay attention on every single thing that can potentially ruin your catch... Food for thought.

Love this reel
I’ve been using this surf spinning reel for several weeks now on everything from heavy beach breaks to long cast big game sessions, and overall it’s been very impressive. 🔹 Quality: Right out of the box the build feels solid and premium. The materials don’t feel cheap or hollow — it has that reassuring weight and robustness that tells you it’s made to take serious pressure from big fish. 🔹 Smoothness: One of the first things I noticed was how smooth the retrieve is. Whether slow-rolling a bait or cranking hard, the drag runs buttery smooth with zero jerky starts or resistance spikes. That makes long battles much less fatiguing and a lot more enjoyable. 🔹 Weight: For a big game reel designed to hold heavy lines and big fish drag, the weight is very well balanced. It’s not feather-light, but it doesn’t pull the rod down or throw off your cast rhythm either — perfectly suited for extended surf sessions. 🔹 Drag Quality: This is a highlight. The drag feels consistent, powerful, and linear from 0 to max — no sudden free spool or locking. Even when fighting hard-charging fish, it settles into a predictable resistance that lets me keep pressure without worrying about breaks. 🔹 Look: Aesthetically, this reel hits the sweet spot between rugged and refined. The finish is sharp and clean, with no sloppy paint or mismatched edges. It looks like a reel that belongs in the water and in the hands of serious anglers. 🔹 Size: It’s definitely on the larger end, but that’s kinda the point with big game surf reels. The size gives it line capacity and torque, and it doesn’t feel oversized once you’re used to it. If anything, it inspires confidence — especially when paired with a heavy-duty surf rod.

Great reel for fishing--not crabbing.
It was a great reel for a year, handled very big fish such as big sting rays and sharks. Not recommended for crab snaring as the gears start slipping at breaking due to the consistent pressure needed for keeping a crab on the snare, otherwise great reel for everything else. It casts far if paired with the right fishing line, rod and weight. Could use a strengthening in its internal gear system.
