I'm giving it 5 stars on both "ease of use" and "stretch" but honestly while it is easy to use, the blades are incredibly brittle due to their size so you must be careful, the instructions are not clear on how to disassemble the unit and sadly I was forced to damage mine to fully open it to remove a set of broken blade parts that were broken when it arrived, but yes it does come apart. It is incredibly sharp and when it is stated as "intuitive" they specifically mean that you can make the blade loop at the tip almost any size you need (accept micro which i needed most) and with practice and control you can learn. It is easy to cut yourself of the person under the tool so please be careful and always properly sanitize the new blades, never reuse a blade from another day, and always sanitize the area when done using proper chemicals needed. It is a good design and I wish it was actually a little wider for a more ergonomic design grip because small details with thin items cause carpal tunnel stress and cramping. Still a good product but you should not just jump into doing a friends hair without practice

Bought this in order to cute stencils into my little baseball players hair. Unfortunately this did not cut the hair even after dropping the hair down to a 1 with my shears. He said it felt like it was pulling his hair more so than cutting it. It is unfortunate because I like how compact the item is.

Awesome idea. Somewhat easy to use. Good for touch ups in between tweezing eyebrows but I would recommend knowing a bit about hair cutting/designing before trying to cut a design into someone's hair. I would also test a small spot of hair first before jumping in to designing. Especially if you've never done it before. I also thought it was battery operated but still works the same as if it would have been.

Easy to use. You do have to change the blade every few uses. Overall I like the tool alot.

I am a licensed cosmetologist and have been doing hair for years. I was so excited to get this being that my son wanted his football number on his head. It basically comes with no directions and when I tried to change the blade it just broke off inside! I didn’t even get the chance to use it! Terribly made and should come with better directions!

This is my first time use it since I bought it. I use this to do my son 2 straight line style hair cut. The pen is sharp and easy to use. My wife said maybe she will try to do the eyebrows too. Hope it will work great.

This product was terrible. The blades cracked before you could even insert them. The blade is not sharp enough to create a design. Totally not usable.

It’s awesome. Use wet and with shave cream for best results trim out design with clippers first
