The media could not be loaded. At first I just bought these because I figured I could get a better deal than a hardware store but I genuinely like this brand. They give you a lot for a good price with a nice variety off sizes. They all are shiny and new with a good weight to them. But their performance is impressive. They are so easy to use and durable that even when I hit them wrong they do not bend! Also they send a mustache sticker!!

I decided to buy each of the 3 available colors of these nails, expecting to use the black ones for hanging up some items in my kitchen and the rest to simply have on hand. All 3 arrived in containers marked with the Mr. Pen logo, a thank you note, and a mustache cutout.After opening the black ones, I was rather disappointed in the size of the nail. It felt very small and thin, some of the nails were bent or warped, and the head was very tiny. Just to be sure, I grabbed my caliper and checked the sizes. They are definitely smaller than advertised. First of all, the mm size given is apparently for the head of the nail, but even then the heads on the black nails are at least half a mm smaller than indicated. The nails themselves seem to range from 1.2mm to 1.8mm in diameter depending on the size and color of the nail.In my photos I just used the largest size nails and you can clearly see a difference in head size, and using the caliper they each vary by 0.1mm from the next color. The gold ones being 1.8mm, silver 1.7mm, and black 1.6mm. Surprisingly, the gold ones feel the most normal when I'm holding them. Only the heads of the gold and silver ones are accurate to the description.The black nails (which were the ones I planned on using) are just not sufficient and it looks like I'll be using a gold one instead. I'm definitely glad I didn't just buy the black ones. Their thank you note says that if I'm not happy with the nails then they will replace or refund them, so I think I will be doing that with these.

These nails are small and useful for so many things... and it's nice not to have to scrounge for an appropriate size nail (or a matching pair of them). Would buy again but I probably have enough now for this lifetime.

i was looking for some black nails since i had some black material i need to nail to my wall.. so i read the reviews.. i always read the reviews.. i see something and i think.. wow.. that is pretty cool and then i read the reviews and in no time I'm deleting the page and continuing on with my search.. So after looking at a couple different brands of nails .. I came across product.. read the reviews.. all positive and so i bought them and sure enough.. good strong nails and they come in 4 different sizes... great for hanging pictures etc .. regard to the latch on the front.. to make sure it clasps on the little tap .. after you lift the top ... bend the latch forward so that when you close it again.. the clasp or latch will get a good hold on the tab.. otherwise your going to be picking up a few nails.. js so thanks for reading .. These come in handy, I only wish it came with a little longer nails. It gets the job done though.
