I don’t yet know what it will do for sound but, it seals around speakers in auto door and closes any gap from door to speaker. That has got to be beneficial.

Good foam and great 3M adhesive
These fit perfectly around my 6.5" Morel Maximo component woofers, enough space for the rubber surround but still very fitted to the basket mounting area.
