I was looking for a DEET-free alternative to help with the mosquitoes that linger around my house from morning to night, and this candle has been an excellent solution. It provides noticeable relief without the use of harsh chemicals, and I appreciate that I can safely keep it burning around children and pets. We used it during a few outdoor activities (pumpkin carving and handing out candy on Halloween) and it made a difference. You could see mosquitoes drift near the area and then move away. It made spending time outside more comfortable, and I didn’t have to rely on any toxic sprays or lotions to achieve that. The scent is another pleasant surprise. It’s light, fresh, and natural-smelling, not overpowering like some citronella products. I appreciate the 18 hour burn time as well If you plan to stay in one spot outdoors, this is a great option for creating a comfortable, mosquito-free space. I’ll definitely keep these on hand to make outdoor time more enjoyable for my family

The candles seem to work pretty well within a small radius and kept mosquitoes at bay. Not sure how far away from the candle they would still work.

Wick of one candle was placed so terribly, half the candle wouldn't burn. Did not notice a difference with bug annoyance. Not a good product, certainly not worth the money.
