Generic, potentially not high quality stainless steel
Pros- quite large! lot of space for mixing a lot of stuff in once- reasonable quality- can use the lids as potential trays, albeit flexible trays- very lightCons- I'm not convinced it's our high quality stainless steel- feels like the same sort of material you get with dog bowls- generic and unbrandedI was really surprised at how light they are. They do feel like when I'm washing up the dog bowls though, they're supposed to be 'stainless steel' as well. Some of them haven't been though. The reason I don't think they're a high quality stainless steel is while I was initially washing up, the oils from my fingers were still very apparent on the inside of the bowls until sponged off.The stainless steel I have from trusted sources doesn't do this. The not very good stainless steel or fake stainless does what these did though.I'm not a metal expert so maybe there is a certain level of stainless but I'm suspicious of it to be honest.Only long time and abuse will show whether it's just a coated metal of some sort. A couple of my dog bowls that were 'stainless steel' started rusting rather quick so I'm just super suspicious of the claims made in this marketplace. That being said, they're actually pretty nice. I imagine if you're just going to use them for things like salads and not using anything abrasive, like metal forks or anything. You might get a good fair use out of these things. They're good with the sealing lids for the fridge as well. The multicoloured lids are a good addition. They are super light, so not like my glass pyrex mixing bowl.I'm not sure how much I'd trust them with mixing for baking or using a metal whisk or something. I haven't got plans currently to bake so I'll have to get some ingredients and bake something to update this review. They're okay, but them being unbranded and generic feeling, I'm not convinced of their longevity of lifespan. Neither am I convinced they're a high quality stainless steel.

Great Price and Easy to Wash Bowls in the Dishwasher
For close to £15 this isn't a bad set of bowls. They're nice and deep and sufficiently wide. Made of stainless steel. But I did find them quite on the thin side which may affect longterm durability, especially if dropped. The sizes can be used for all manners of at-home kitchen prep and the sealable lids means I can allow things to rest or prove in a hygienic way.The sizes in the set at 2 litres, 3,4 litres and 5.2 litres.I have placed the steel bowls in the dishwasher, but not the lids, which I fear may shrink in there. The steel bowls dont have a rubberised base which makes them easier to wash in the dishwasher.5 stars at £15, though I dont think id pay much more than that for the quality.
