Worked extremely well for my 15 lb Jack Russell terrier mix. I love that there are two options for tightening the boots on around the ankle joint and then above the knee. Stayed on even through heavy snow and will not come off if properly tightened.

First of all, these booties were worn, dirty, and had a very strong musty smell. It was so disgusting! Needless to say I am not a happy customer! And as far as the fit, there was NO way I would have put them on my dog!!

I live in Arizona. It's ungodly hot here during the summer. You cannot let dogs out on pavement or concrete when the pavement gets over 90 degrees fahrenheit (32 celsius). Pavement can register over 90 when the air temps are in the low 80's. Over 90, dogs foot pads can burn. It's even worse for small dogs whose foot surface area is less. During July of 2023, daytime highs where I am did not go under 110 for 31 straight days. Letting my dogs outside to do their business during that kind of heat can be damaging to them. To add to the issue is that many homes, including mine, do not have any grass at all. The yards are mostly crushed stones, which also get super hot. I was looking to find a set of shoes that I can slip on my dogs quickly, let them out onto the stones to do their thing safely without burning their pads, and then bring them in and take the shoes/socks off again. I tried these out on one of my dogs as soon as they came in. Most dog parents will know what happened next... He did not like them on his feet and tried to kick them off. It's going to take some training to get them to be comfortable with these. They do go on somewhat easily compared to other brands I've tried and the velcro straps allow you to adjust how snugly they fit. We also have hardwood floors and I might try to keep these on my dog to see if he moves around easier on them with these as well. I'll update on our usage after we can try these with the super hot heat in June and July. Right now, I'm calling these a good value.

I took my dog camping over the weekend, and put these on him when we were hiking. He did the little flail thing for a few minutes while he got used to them, but then seemed to forget he was wearing them. It cut way down on the wear and tear on his feet. Glad to have these!

The material is average, and they’re difficult to put on a dog’s legs.
