Very comfortable and cute
These sandals are so comfortable and cute! They fit perfectly and are easy to wear with almost any outfit. I can walk in them for hours without my feet hurting, which is hard to find. The quality feels great for the price and they look even better in person. I’ve already gotten so many compliments on them!

Good quality sandals for less than half the price
I was skeptical at first buying this brand because it’s not a known brand like Birkenstock for example but after getting them I’m very pleasantly surprised with the quality of these project cloud slippers. They are soft the footbed is much softer than the Birks I already own and to be completely honest these are much more comfortable to wear. Now I’m not saying that the quality is the same obviously the real Birkenstock are made from premium materials and will likely last longer these slippers are still more comfortable to wear and the top grain leather is also very good quality. We’ll see if they last as long however so far I’m very impressed for half the price of my birks. I’ll post a couple pictures side by side just for comparison. Would 100% recommend to get them if you’re on the fence.

DANGREOUS - These shoes cause injuries!!!
I bought these well over a year ago. They are DANGEROUS! The back of the heel cup is sharp and rigid, yet the footbed is slick so the sandals have a tendency to slip forward. Sometimes they literally just fly off your feet while walking which is not nearly as bad as when they just shift forward a little bit so that when your foot hits the ground the soft part of your foot lands right on the hard, sharp, rigid back of the heel. Its painful, but today this happened when I was walking down stairs. I literally screamed in pain. This happened a few hours ago... and my foot is hurting more and more as they day goes on. (I've since changed into running shoes with a lot of cushion.) I am limping. And there is a curved blue line across the bottom of my foot... a deep painful bruise where I stepped on the sandal. While this was the most painful, I've had several close calls walking down stairs when they come flying off my foot. Again, best case is that they get slung across the room... when they simply slip forward without being slung all the way off, your foot comes down on the shoe that is half on and half off. Its incredibly frustrating and very dangerous. AND SUPER PAINFUL!!! DO NOT BUY THESE SANDALS. THEY ARE DANGEROUS!!!

Price & Quality Un-matched
This pair is for my Son. Bought my first pair same color in women’s 2 years ago with the BIG buckle and they’re still comfortable and the wear is minimal. These are the most comfortable sandal and the memory foam is like walking on a cloud. Thank you for the fast shipping!! These are a size 13 for reference with plenty of room on the strap for adjustment of the buckle for a wide and/or snug fit.

Best fakenstocks I've ever bought, but soles wearing quickly after two months use.
I started wearing Birks around 40 years ago and have gone through many pairs of Arizona sandals. I love them. Shorts and sandals mean summertime for me. But Birks have become so expensive that when I'm in the market for a new pair, I sometimes look around hoping to find something nearly equivalent at a lower price. Unfortunately, the Birk knockoffs I've bought before were quickly very disappointing. They felt cheesy and weren't nearly as comfortable as the originals. And none of them lasted long. Still, I held out hope someone might do it right. Early this summer, I saw these Project Cloud sandals here on Amazon. The reviews were good, so I gave them a shot. Overall, I'm pretty impressed. They look good and appear to be well made. I wear them almost every day and I find them very comfortable. In fact, I think the Project Cloud memory foam foot bed may even be superior to the Birk soft foot bed. Now for the downside -- while the cork base is holding up extremely well (none of the glue sealant is peeling), the rubber soles appear to be wearing quickly considering only two months use. The durability of the soles looks like they might be a weak point for these sandals. Birks usually last me a two or three summers before needing re-soling (which has also become very expensive), but the Project Cloud sandals might not make it to a second summer. I don't know if they can be re-soled. I'm going to ask the manufacturer if they can refurbish them the way some Birk shops do. Nonetheless, I'm giving these Project Cloud sandals a solid 4-star rating because I like them a lot and they are so comfortable. This rating may prove to be a bit generous if they wear out too soon, however. If the soles were hardier, I'd give these sandals five stars. See the attached photos for how the bottoms of the soles and especially the heels are wearing out. UPDATE 1/22/26: These sandals made it through nearly daily use for two summers, '24 and '25, and I continue using them inside during the winter. Given the price and overall quality I am very satisfied. I've gotten a lot of use from them and it shows. The heels have worn down to the cork and the footbed's covering has started peeling -- also along the heel. But I like them so much I bought another pair that I'll start using next summer. If you decide to buy, keep an eye out for when they are on sale.

Great “birks” without the crazy cost!
Just got them today but right off the bat I am super happy. Thank goodness I didn’t spend 130 on Birks. And an hour later of walking around. These are fantastic, I can actually feel the cushioning. Love these!!

Full/top grain leather, NOT cheap "genuine" leather
Whoever wrote the product description must not understand that "genuine leather" is considered the cheapest, lowest quality leather in the industry. Having bought 2 pairs of Project Cloud sandals, they are made with much higher quality Full Grain or Top Grain leather, identical to the most expensive leather Birkenstocks, which I also own - pictured next to my Project Cloud sandals. They need to update the description because "genuine leather" is a major downgrade from top or full grain, which it actually is. Below is a quick AI overview of the various grades of leather, for awareness: 🏆 Full-Grain: The Gold Standard The absolute best you can buy. It uses the entire top layer of the hide. It hasn’t been sanded or buffed, meaning it’s incredibly tough and develops a beautiful "patina" (darkened sheen) over time. Vibe: Heirloom quality. Lasts a lifetime. 🥈 Top-Grain: The Balanced Choice The second-highest grade. The very top layer is sanded down to remove scars or imperfections, then "imprinted" with a fake grain for a uniform look. It’s thinner and more flexible than full-grain. Vibe: Luxury look without the break-in period. 🥉Genuine Leather: The Marketing Trap Don't let the name fool you. This is usually made from the bottom layers (splits) left over after the top is stripped away. It's often heavily processed and spray-painted to look like the good stuff. Vibe: Budget-friendly but will peel and crack within a year or two. 💩 Bonded Leather: The "Particle Board" The lowest tier. These are shredded leather scraps and fibers glued together with polyurethane and backed by cloth. It’s essentially the "hot dog" of the leather world. Vibe: Cheap, non-durable, and smells like chemicals.

The Product / The Size / The Service
————————UPDATED———————— Was debating whether I should buy a product which is basically a dupe of the original (Birke...) but decided to go for it anyways, given the rather reasonable price AND the fact it has a memory foam - photos showed a cushion at the heel - and I suffer from Planter Fasciitis. So far, so good. Took measures of my feet (26.7 cm) and here the `mini chaos` started as I got two different recommendations from the site itself(!) which size should fit me best, and note that NONE of which was the size I normally wear (US 10). So, I contacted Customer Support, and after chatting with Ken (fast response!) via mail, Ken suggested "Thanks for your response. You might want to consider size 8 - 8.5 as the 7.5 might be too small for you and you might feel uncomfortable with it.". Went ahead and ordered as per his recommendation. What arrived was SUPER tight on my foot, not to mention the color (Taupe), albeit nice, was not very similar to what you see in the photos :-( My wife saw me struggling with size (releasing and closing the straps and walking back and fort) and said she will try them on ... and making a long story short, she took the sandals and is now using them. Nice color for her, size fits her after some strap adjustments, look a tad wide, but OK ... manageable.... Still wanting a pair of my own, I went online to buy another pair, this time, knowing the sizes are way too small, I opted for TWO sizes up (took Size 10! Remember Ken suggested 8.5 ...). What I got indicated Size 11 (judging by the label) but fits like a glove!!!! 11 IS my size :-) Color wise, (Chocolate) is again off :-( (looks more like a type of orange, which is the main source of my problem and disappointment if I am really honest) but otherwise the sandal fits nicely, without any adjustments required and is so far very comfortable and the cushion in the heel adds comfort and bounce. Knowing me, I may not wear it just because I really don't like the color :-( (not to say it looks a bit lady-like and I'm a male) but thought I'd share my humble experience so other may make a better choice in size and color. Lastly, if I may, a note to the manufacturer ... I would make the straps a bit thicker (on the Z Axis. Thick not wide). The feeling is those are rather thin, which does not add to the overall feeling of quality of the sandal and while at it, perhaps also sand the leather a bit more to make the material look less like regular oiled leather or Nubuck and more like Suede which is (to me) the more funky, preppy look of a leather which I tend to like. Hope someone finds this review useful and orders the correct size and color. ————————————————————— Following this review I had an exchange of communication (on the Amazon platform itself) with the brand, shared photos of the orange item and the brand admitted what I received was not the Chocolate color I ordered. I was then told a new pair be shipped over at no charge! Nice right ?!?! Few weeks passed and the goods have not arrived. The brand claimed there are some delays delivering the item to Singapore. Gave me some story about taxation and eventually suggested I speak with Amazon support as they are in charge of fulfillment. Chatted with Amazon support and was disappointed to learn that new item was never shipped and the only option left is to get a refund. At least that. Please consider if indeed you wish to go for such a brand or supplier.

Great value Birkenstock alternative
I have worn Birki’s for about 50 years and have gone through many pairs. These sandals are just as comfortable and well made at about half the price. I would purchase them again.
