I needed a really warm robe with a hood because I watch TV in a recliner in my bedroom late at night long after the heat has been turned down. I also wanted it to be plenty long to cover my legs while reclining. This robe is exactly what I wanted! I'm a woman but ordered a man's to be sure it was floor-length on me. I chose what I thought was the most girly-looking one and it's fabulous! The sherpa is so warm and thick, and the fabric is warm and soft. The sherpa at the wrist is great too as it prevents any cold air from coming in. I love putting it on when I'm cold after a shower then snuggling into my recliner. It's so comforting, soft and cozy. Its quality is great...nothing cheap about it. I love it, love it, love it.

Love them. We sit out side in temps down to the 30s in these and they are very warm. The material is great they are well made easy to take care of. We wash them often and they have no issues. We buy them as gifts and recommend them to every one. We buy them over sized so can't comment on size but assume it is accurate. The colors are really nice and they are so comfortable and Really Soft.

It's very beautiful, warm and cozy. It has some weight to it also. When it arrived a day early I picked up the box and was like this feels too heavy to be a robe. I'm 5'7 207 pounds and the L/XL fits perfectly. Length stops at my ankles and it wraps around my body plenty. It would easily cover a 300 pound person. The only complaint is the length of the arms. It fits my arms almost perfectly but if you are over 6 feet tall with longer arms the L/XL is going to be too short in the arms for you. I want to remove the couple of stitches that make the cuffs semi permanent but I don't want to ruin the robe so I can live with it for now since this is the nicest robe that I could find on Amazon that is affordable

This review is ONLY for the Alexander Del Rossa Men's Warm Fleece Robe with Hood, Plush Big and Tall Bathrobe, Large-XL Red Buffalo Check Plaid with Sherpa (A0262Q42X).This robe is the prefect Christmas robe, Red Buffalo Check Plaid with Sherpa, so I immediately bought it. I am 5ft 9in and the L/XL fit perfectly. It stopped right at the top of my ankle which is right where I hoped it would go and the arms stopped about an inch short of my wrist but it wasn’t noticeable and I didn’t care because this robe was amazing looking and I have wanted a Christmas robe for faaaaaaaaaar too long.The tag sewn in the robe says to wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors and tumble dry on low. Well, I washed it with some old towels I keep at the back of my linen closet. They aren’t stained I just keep them for emergencies and this was one…sorta. I use them for situations when color bleeding may be an issue and I was concerned this might bleed red all over.Washing it cold/cold worked out perfectly. No bleeding of the red at all for me and the sherpa parts of the robe and the towels were not stained red, so far so good. Now at this point a small voice in my head kept saying ‘line dry it, line dry it”, but the tag said drying it on low worked so I decided to take a chance and went with that. I dried it on low as the tag said to and when I pulled it out……… it was COVERED in red fabric lint. Yep, the red fabric gave off red lint fibers like there was no tomorrow and the white sherpa, every inch of it, was covered in red. Not stained red just covered with red lint. I was mortified. I double checked the washing instructions and, yep, I followed them to the letter. I made a few attempts to pull the red pills and lint out of the Sherpa but it was futile and my lint roller had ZERO success either. The red pills and lint were just to embedded in the white Sherpa.I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because someone at quality control should have caught this but didn't.R.I.P. Christmas robe. The little voice in my head was right for a change *sigh*I was able to return it and may buy this again now that I know better but under no circumstances should you dry this robe. LINE DRY IT!!

I was reluctant to get the buffalo plaid because some of the horror stories in the reviews, but I risked it because it's the exact robe I've been searching for. I have no clue how those folks washed theirs, but I followed the very simple instructions, and have had zero issues machine washing and tumble drying this robe. After the fourth wash, the black fleece is still free of red fibers. I even tossed in a red and white flannel along with it on the fourth wash, and the white is still bright and vibrant with no pink. I'm guessing folks washed and dried this on hot. Don't.I love the length. Other robes leave my calves cold in the winter, but not this one! I am 5'11", 190lbs, and the Large was perfect. I could gain a lot of weight and still wear this robe comfortably.It's very soft. Not the softest microfiber I've felt, but it ranks pretty high. The black fleece inside the hood is incredibly warm, and it continues down the edge of the robe, kind of like an accent lapel. Its also on the cuffs of the sleeves, which are just snug enough to push my sleeves up for cooking breakfast without worrying about my sleeves getting too close to the burner.My only gripe is that the belt is a bit higher than I would like, but I admittedly have short legs and a long torso, so it's probably perfect for normally-proportioned people.

Excellent! Without a doubt, this is the best thing I've bought in a very long time! Fits like it was tailor-made, warm, just beautiful! I can't tell you how good this robe feels, and *is* going to feel when my dog needs to go potty at 2:00am! Also, looks great! Not enough words to express my adoration of this product! Highly recommended!

My husband loves his robe! It's so soft and is made well. I've only washed it once. No shrinking or bleeding colors. Definitely worth the money.

I purchased another brand right before this and it was such a disappointment, with bad cut, smaller than advertised size and low quality material (was suppose send to be 100% cotton and pretty sure it isn't).So when I ordered this as a replacement, I had my doubts and concerns because returning international with Amazon in Australia is simply appalling, I didn't even return the last joke of a gown because of it. So, imagine my surprise when this gown turned up, well made, soft, warm, generous in cut and ideal length of sleeves and gown. I genuinely couldn't be more happy with the purchase.
