This is great fun, as a Risk fan most people get used to which regions they want to occupy and have a general plan in mind already. This version is great because it throws all of that previous planning out of the window due to the map being different and it being difficult at first glance to relay the areas to those of the original. The quality is great and the fact that it is essentially the game of Risk means that it is already famed for being one of the best strategic war board games that was ever designed so to add the places and characters of Lord of the Rings makes it even better. Middle Earth tends to make anything more interesting and fun in my mind.
