Nice Tool! Batteries NOT!
Update 2: They responded to my seller contact and I told them both batteries failed at the same time. They sent one new battery under warranty, not 2. I am guessing it will last no better than the last ones did. I will never need the extra chain blade or bar that came with the unit LoL. Considering this, I see many options for as little as half the price of this one if you only need a disposable unit for a single project as this one has turned out to be. I'll keep my rating at 5 stars as it is a lesson well learned about the very weak link of battery powered devices. I ended up using an old pair of hand powered clippers to finish off what I could. Update: After 4 to 5 charges each, both batteries will not charge. So lesson learned: the most important feature of any battery powered product is how good are the batteries because without them the device, no matter how good, is useless. I will not make this mistake again with battery powered products - stick with known name brands so you can trust the batteries to at least last a season. This type of saw is awesome, now I have to go pay for a name brand, probably one I already own batteries that are compatible. Works great. Came in a case in a box in a box. Sharpener, glasses, gloves, etc. included. Extra bar and chain included in the option I purchased. Batteries were fully charged upon arrival and I was able to use the tool right away without charging first. In case you are wondering, unlike a regular sized chainsaw, this Tietoc mini-chainsaw uses a much smaller chain blade so it can cut much smaller diameter items without the bouncing and sliding of the blade that you may have experienced with those larger tools while trying to cut small diameter branches, brush and saplings. For those of you who are not familiar with chainsaws, you will not get a cut as clean as using hand held clippers so I would not prune decorative plants and shrubs or garden vegetables with it. If it can easily move, a chainsaw is not the proper tool. Only had it a few days but right now its one of those Amazon items I am thinking I wish I had known about and purchased a long time ago because it works so great for what it does. I don't know how long its gonna last but I am thinking if it lasts only one season it was worth it for me. It seems well built enough for what it is. If I don't accidentally break something I think it could last quite a few years or however long the batteries continue to charge. If you have used a regular sized gas or electric plug-in chainsaw and you are thinking you would like something much smaller and lighter and easily used while being held in only one hand then you will love a battery powered mini-chainsaw. You will be very pleased by its ease of use. I looked at a few mini-chainsaws online and at my local big box stores. I decided on this Tietoc one, I don't even remember why but I think it was the extra bar and chain for the price. I am now thinking it was a good choice. It works great. It cuts through wood like butter. The one bad thing I did notice about this saw was that when I was done cutting what I needed to cut, instead of stopping at that, I found myself looking around my yard for more things to cut with it. You may have to fight that urge also if you get one of these. I used it on limbs and branches ranging from pencil thin to 4 inches diameter on a couple large pine trees I had to climb up to attach ropes in preparation for cutting them down. These pine trees have so many branches I had to cut my way through them as I climbed up. This tool worked incredibly awesome for that. I also have a line of brush about 20 feet by 300 feet that I have to do some clearing every year of saplings and vines and brush that wants to grow out and expand into the yard. This thing works great cutting that back also. It cuts small diameter woody plants like briars and saplings and branches with an ease that nothing else matches. My suggestion: if you are already invested in expensive batteries for a specific brand of tools - check to see what they offer in a mini-chainsaw so you can take advantage of the battery sharing. Otherwise, this Tietoc seems to be a great choice for quality, performance and value. It is 30 percent cheaper than the store brand at my local big box and this one has a case, accessories and an extra bar and chain. I almost forgot, you get an extra battery too. I dont' like to leave 5 star reviews because, tbh, everything could be better than it is. But I am not sure how this tool could be better at this point in time so I decided to give it 5 stars. I will downgrade my vote if it lets me down after I speak well of it.

Handy and works great. and only $30
THis little saw is super easy to clean, use and maneuver. I can get into tight places easily and, because it's lightweight, it's easy to control. Clean up easliy, And it's kind of fun to get in there and get your trimming done. There is one extra chain, charging cord, cleaning brush (that I really don't use), A small oiling bottle, and a bar cover included. The chain lasted me about 3 hours of use before I felt that it could be changed. I gave my big one to charity. Storage = plus, size =plus, price = plus plus.

Amazing little chainsaw
I have a bad shoulder, so this little beauty does the trick for triming all the dead or unwanted branches. Manual sawing, forward-back, over and over was not working for me anymore. This Tietoc 6 inch cordless does the job! I have a large corded electric chainsaw for the big jobs(Poulan) so electric is not new to me. Having this cordless Tietoc is easy to handle, easy to carry and goes where I go in my utility trailer. I guessed, seeing how it came with a spare bar and chain that they wear out. They all do. But you can make it last longer. I bought a gallon jug of chain/bar oil and don't skimp on oiling. I do the same for my big corded one. It's easy adjusting the chain tension. I can saw using it left or right handed to get down close to the ground for the small trees. Small doesn't mean no power. This beauty does some pretty big cutting jobs as well as the small ones. What I like is not having to run my big cords for my corded chainsaw just to cut a couple of branches. I have an acre so running up to 200 feet of cord can be a real pain just for some smaller jobs. Cons: I wish I had more batteries for it, or the batteries would last a bit longer. I Would still buy another one and would recommend it to anyone who does their own lawn maintenance. We get some pretty bad winds here so having this to cut up the downed branches is very handy. At this price, you can't go wrong and it has a great warranty! I would suggest getting one with more than one battery if you have a lot to cut(I did). Don't wait. Get one now. You'll be glad you did.

Man does this work!
First the bad. The adjustment screw fell out after only one day. The cover had to be tightened really tight to keep the chain tight. It caused the bolt hole in the chain-cover to wear on the right and left side, so it is not a good fit anymore. Also, it has cracked. Still tightening it down with grizzly bear strength does keep the chain tight for quite some time. Now the good. I must have cut up close to a half cord of wood with this saw. I changed the chain after two weeks of constant daily use at my campsite. I sawed up to 10 1/2" diameter standing dead oak (Beechnut) trees with this. It ate through them like butter. I intentionally put this saw through the paces to prove it a bad purchase, but it proved me wrong! I bought a quick charger and two extra batteries that I charged with a 12 volt to AC converter (120 watts max) each taking about 20-45 minutes to charge. This put no drain on my car battery at all and I used this saw for hours at a time. I did have some issues with two of the batteries not taking a full charge and going caput after only 10 or so minutes of use. At other times they took a better charge but not dependably so. I numbered the batteries with a permanent marker, so I know which two are not up to par. The other two hold a charge for up to and over 45 minutes dependably. I can see no problems in its ability to saw cords and cords more and still have life left in it if the cover holds out. This saw is made better than you would think overall. Just wish they had replacement parts so I could replace the chain tightening screw and the cover when it wears out. It does not guzzle chain oil like full size saws do. I used biodegradable oil in it and did so with the environment in mind. I bought the 16-ounce container of it and there is 3/4's of it left after 2 weeks of daily use of about 2-3 hours. If you have doubts about this saw don't. Just keep an eye on the tension screw. I would suggest putting a nut on it and keeping a small wrench handy so you can tighten the nut down after you get the tension screw where you want it. A washer in between the nut and body of the saw would help keep any wear down to a minimum. This will keep the chain tight longer. It might add a bit to retightening it when it gets loose, but it will keep you from losing the screw and keep the cover in better condition. I would recommend using the brush in the case and giving it a good cleaning after each heavy usage. That means removing and cleaning the inside of the cover and the bar as well. The first chain is still very usable after nearly a 1/2 cord of wood. Man, what a great saw this is! I have had ten spinal surgeries! This saw sure made it a whole lot easier for me to do wood! Before I was using a Silky which broke on me plus it used my day up for only one night's firewood leaving me exhausted and in severe pain. I cut three nights worth in one day with this Tietoc saw and still have time to relax and enjoy my day! This is not toy. It really does work as stated. Be careful and spend less time on cutting wood while enjoying a nice hot fire at night without working yourself to death!

Incredible value and surprisingly powerful! Review by Verified Purchaser
I spent a good amount of time looking around at larger home improvement stores for a mini pruning saw, but everything comparable was priced well over $100. I took a chance on this Tietoc 6-Inch Mini Cordless Chainsaw since it was less than half the price, and I am so glad I did! For the price point, this little tool works amazingly well. It is wonderfully lightweight and easy to handle, yet it had zero trouble slicing through very thick branches and dead limbs in mere seconds. It is robust, completely up to the task, and makes yard cleanup effortless. If you are looking for an affordable, high-performing pruning tool without spending a fortune at the big box stores, I highly recommend this one!

Smooth like butter, easy to use for women.
This saw is amazing just don't overflow oil, takes very little to fill. I'm a women with a bad dominant hand and this saw worked seamlessly, smooth like butter, definitely is worth the purchase, gets the jobs done and battery life was good as well. Appreciated 2 batteries coming with it, not that I ever needed to change battery while using but the battery was interchangeable with my hedge trimmers and I did a lot with those and needed an extra 3rd battery after trimming a huge amount of thistles around a pond. Trimmers and saw were exactly what I needed.

Does the job for up to 3" branch, meets expectation
It is definitely handy and does light job as expected. I have branch cutter that can deal with up to 1.5". I also have full size chainsaw that can cut through 3" above. This mini chainsaw covers this gap and can reach space that is difficult to size tool. It struggles when working with 3" above. Overall, it meets the expectation for this price point.
