This is a great playground accessory that will provide fun for children of all ages. The telescope does not actually magnify objects, but my child sure thinks it does. It's great for imaginative play. The telescope is easy to install by simply drilling two pilot holes, then screwing the base onto where you want to mount the telescope. I mounted it on our clubhouse, but you could also mount it on a sandbox or a variety of other places. Once the base is screwed on, you simply snap the telescope onto the base. The plastic materials seem to be sturdy and I anticipate the telescope will hold up well in inclement weather.

Extremely easy to install and add more fun to a playhouse or playset. Comes with all the screws you need, to mount the base on the playset, the base is fairly wide and you have to be strategic in where you mount it. Depending on the size of your board, it might not fit in your first pick. Once installed, super sturdy and you are able to snap it into place. Extremely fun to use, as well as watch the kids use it over and over again!
