Super good head unit and fit perfectly with my bmw e39. Really likes the user interface, wasn’t too hard to use or anything like that. My phone is a little old so sometimes connectivity can be spotty but works really well overall. I will say that because of the unit having only 2gb for ram, it can stutter sometimes or lag. But it’s good for the most part

Easy to install. Works well but processes a little slower than some. Good value for the money. Fits well but has a small gap at the bottom that you can’t really see unless you’re looking for it.

I was apprehensive at first between this and what most M5 forums suggest, a Dynavin, but for something at half the cost of the Dynavin, thought I’d give it a shot and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Wireless CarPlay, speedy UI, better sound than stock and looks factory with no odd branding/logos on it, this was well worth the price. If you have an e39 M5, you may have to buy the eonon cable extension that allows you to connect this head unit to the stereo brain in the trunk. It took me a couple hrs to install, not because of the head unit, but because I wanted to hide the extension cable which required removal of the rear seat, some lower plastic moldings near the floor and the lower dash below the steering wheel. In the end, absolutely a bargain price for a great product that further increased the convenience in my 24 year old car :)

I purchased this to replace the previous Eonon unit which stopped working (screen went blank). I purchased the cable to connect to the electronics in the trunk when I bought the first Eonon unit. The new Eonon unit has a different connector on the back so the old Eonon cable will not plug in. I have to buy a new cable and route it through the car.

Brought on Nov. 2024 as a gift to my wife's car. Had an Eonon ga 6201f and it was time to upgrade. Decided to go with this radio, install was quick as I already had an Eonon radio. 20 minutes install time, everything works except for the sound, played with it for a couple hours no sound. Install in a 1998 BMW E39 540i. Non dsp. Reinstalled old radio everything works even sound. Contacted Eonon by email...let's see what happens. Update 4/2/25.. Still no sound, after contacting EONON customer service and did software upgrade still nothing. Customer service is extremely slow. Still waiting on more info. from Eonon.

This fits great, looks good, and retains an OEM look!

Completely transformed by 2001 530i interior, had to buy the harness because mine had all the connectors in the trunk but overall install is not too difficult if your experienced with vehicles, but great product overall.
