Women’s Speedcross Peak Trail Running Shoes

I recently purchased a pair of Salomon hiking shoes, and they have quickly become my go-to for all outdoor adventures. From the moment I slipped them on, I could tell they were incredibly comfortable right out of the box with no break-in period needed. The cushioning and support feel like they were made for long treks, even on tough terrain. I've worn them on rocky trails, steep inclines, and muddy paths, and they’ve held up exceptionally well. The grip is solid, offering confidence with every step, and the design keeps my feet dry and supported. They’re also surprisingly lightweight for how durable and well-constructed they are. What stands out most is the quality craftsmanship—from the reinforced stitching to the sturdy laces and breathable material. Salomon clearly put thought into the details. After miles of hiking, they still look and feel great. If you're looking for hiking shoes that combine comfort, performance, and durability, Salomon delivers. Highly recommend for anyone who loves to hit the trail. Be sure to size down.

I've been through multiple pairs of these--so sorry, Amazon!!--because I previously owned two pairs of Salomon that were great and lasted for many years! I've had issues with the Speedcross Peak with sizing (these run larger, and the toe box is narrow and long) and with quality (inserts were not cut right on one pair; on another, one shoe was noticeably more padded than the other). It's such a shame, because Salomon is usually wonderful! I have finally given up on this particular model. My understanding is that it is produced at a cheaper facility, so I'm guessing corners are cut.

These run wide and long. I wear an 8.5, I would go down to 8 if I bought again which is unusual for Solomon.

The sizing is men's sizing not women's on the black pair. After 3 orders I finally got the correct size. I have been wearing Salomon hiking shoes for many years. I have always worn a women's size 9. I wear an 8.5 in all other shoes mostly. The 9's were huge on me. I finally bought the 7.5 with the understanding that these were men's sizes. They fit perfect. Today I will give them a "run" for their money. Heading up to the trails now. I did not give them a breaking in period. Hopefully they will not need one as I have never had to do that with any other pair I have purchased.

I usually buy these Salomon shoes at REI but they did not have the selection that are on line . Great shoes as always

Toller Schuh den ich zum Nordic Walking hauptsächlich trage im Feld und Wald. Auch über längere Strecken stabil und bequem. Ich mag das Profil an der Sohle da ich dadurch auch auf rutschigen Flächen sicher laufen kann und das wirkt sich positiv auf mein Gangverhalten aus.
