This is a really well made hand grinder and it works exceptionally well. The grinder is made completely made from metal and feels very solid and heavy. It is very easy to hold in my hand and has a nice rubber ring (with the brand logo) at the middle to get a better grip. This grinder is very easy to use and provides very consistent coffee grinds for whatever brewing method you choose. it can grind fine enough for espresso (and even Turkish coffee) and also nice rough grounds for pour over and cold brew. In addition to the grind level adjustment and grind consistency, it also comes with a nice feature I have not seen with any other high quality hand grinder before, and that is the sifting feature in the catch cup. At the bottom of the catch cup is another lid and it can hold a small sifting plate to sift out finer grinds to ensure even higher grind consistency and eliminate the small powder that might otherwise make your cup more bitter, especially if you brew with pour-over or French press. This is a very cool feature and should be highlighted for this grinder. There are 5 different sifting screens included with different micron sizes, depending on you taste preference. To make it work they also included a screw on lid for the catch cup, so when you are done grinding, you can close the cup and shake it to sift out the undesired fines. Plus, the lid also means you can grind ahead of time and just keep you coffee nicely sealed in the catch cup. This is unique to this grinder and makes it, in my opinion, the most versatile hand grinder on the market at the moment. From a quality perspective, the grinder is well build with a nice long handle, that is easy to use. the burrs are titanium coated and very strong and it feels very easy to grind, also as the bearings are super smooth and almost friction free. When you turn it without beans inside it feels like it moves forever. So, overall I think this is one of the most valuable grinders on the market right now and it is definitely worth the money.

This is NOT the grinder you see in all of their sponsored promotions and reviews on YouTube. It does NOT have a magnetic catch cup. It CANNOT be disassembled by hand for cleaning. It CANNOT be zero-calibrated. The burrs CANNOT be swapped out, at least not without a pin spanner. Not exactly a tool I keep lying around the house.

Grabbed this for the morning routine and it’s been doing a solid job. The adjustment ring makes dialing in the grind size straightforward, and the burrs chew through beans smoothly without binding up. It feels well built for the price in the hand and the included sifting screens help keep the grounds uniform. Been using it a couple weeks with solid results. Only small gripe is disassembly for cleaning, could be easier. Otherwise it's a nice grinder.

I have the non-pro version of this coffee mill and love it. I use it 3-5 times per day and it has been flawless. When the pro version was released, MHW-3BOMBER added a titanium coating to the burr and changed the external rotation dial to a single rotation from a three rotation. They also changed the catch cup to a threaded version rather than the superior magnetically attached cup used on the standard R3. I didn’t know about the catch cup change, so even though I have zero complaints about the standard R3, I bought the pro version. I thought the single rotation dial might be handy some day, although a don’t typically change the grind enough to go beyond the single rotation of the standard R3. Titanium coasted burr? I’m not cutting steel, I’m grinding coffee so I doubt that would be noticed. The quality is excellent and I am convinced it will work just as well as the previous version; however, I am returning the Pro version and sticking with the standard R3. The magnetic cup is so simple and non-fiddly and that I notice every time I use it. I don’t want to lose that feature.
