Great quality, comfortable recliner!
I purchased two of these electric recliners. I’m a plus size woman, and this recliner is solid, sturdy, and extremely comfortable. The faux leather is thick, soft, and feels good. The cushioning is firm but comfortable. The button mechanisms to recline and adjust the leg and head rest work smoothly and easily. The chair leg can be raised slightly, or it can recline way back, depending upon how you want it to be. The headrest adjusts comfortably, too. I use a rechargeable battery to power my cgairs(purchased separately), and the battery stays charged for 2-3 months per charge. The chair itself is easy to assemble. There is a zipper to secure the backrest to the seat, and other reviewers said they struggled with the zipper. I was concerned about the zipper when I ordered, but it was not difficult to fasten when I put the chair together. The assembly is really quick and simple. I love the rich dark color of the chair. I love its comfort. I love its sturdiness and the solid feel of the chair. It looks and feels like a much, much more expensive piece of furniture—but the price is great! I highly recommend this chair if you have back issues, want a comfy chair to relax in, are plus size, and/or want great value for your dollar.

Leather is of good quality, chair is extremely comfortable. Well worth the price
These genuine leather recliner chairs are just beautiful. Purchased two in saddle color. I will take you through my true opinion. First received them 4 days prior to the scheduled date, such a pleasant surprise. The boxes are large and heavy, decided to open up in the garage and carry each piece in. At first glance my husband and I we so happy with the feel and the product frame, seemed expensive and sturdy. Putting it together was a breeze, literally 7 minutes. People stated it was difficult to put together or awkward zipper, NOT!!! Put the base down right side up, place the back of the chair facing down on the seat. The chair base and back zipper should be aligned together now, zip it up together. Then lift the back and slip into posts. Once seated in place push out the prongs on both side to completely lock in place. Two people make this process easier - one manipulating the prongs the other pushing down on the back to get into place. Plug in the pieces, Velcro the side flaps in place, and slip in the back side panels in place. Seal the Velcro flap to the bottom. Plug in DONE! The motor is quiet and smooth. Easy buttons for both lift,, decline and head adjustments. Like the one button retract option too. The leather is soft and very luxurious. The head, back and arms are soft and comfy - not stiff at all. The seat is Simi firm, but comfy. Not hard at all, very comfortable. The leg lift is padded nicely as well. The zero wall clearance is about 3 inches to completely extend properly. The extends to a satisfying laid out position. The only fault we could find with the chair really is the length, my husband is only 5”11 and his foot hangs off the edge of the foot rest. So if your tall, the chair might not be the best choice. I’m 5’4 and it’s perfect for me. Love love love these chairs. Beautiful color, rich and expensive looking. Completed with our purchase.

Like most people, I was very hesitant to buy a chair on Amazon. I've been pleasantly surprised.
I suspect that most people are very hesitant when considering the purchase of this chair or any furniture, for that matter, from Amazon. I sure was! The mechanism on my old manual recliner broke so I had to find a replacement. I read the reviews of numerous recliners on Amazon and most of them were not good. I kept coming back to this recliner because I liked the way it looked. But I always read the reviews and I make it a point to read the negative reviews because they often describe a deal-breaking issue with a product. Most of the reviews for this recliner were positive but there was an odd inconsistency in some, especially the negative reviews. I found it funny when I read the reviews by large people who said the chair is very large and then read negative reviews by small people who said the chair was WAY too small. If I remember correctly, one person even claimed in that nobody over 5' 7" could possibly fit in the chair. Again, if I remember correctly, they even exclaimed in capital letters that the chair is SMALL SMALL SMALL or TINY TINY TINY. So, how could a large person claim the chair is very large and a small person insist it's to small? I put off my decision for a while. In that time, I checked some websites for brick and mortar furniture stores in the area. The prices were insane! Most acceptable chairs of this type were $2,000.00 to $3,000.00! I like quality but that's simply too much. Also, I'm at the point where I absolutely hate to go to any physical stores these days with the exception of hardware stores like HD. (I love tools!) So, it was back to Amazon. Now, I should mention for reference that I'm 6' tall and about 250 pounds. The chair was delivered today. The box had damage on a couple sides including one large damaged side that was taped together so I took pictures of the box before opening it in case the chair was damaged. I'm not blaming the seller or manufacturer because the damage probably happened in transit. Fortunately, the chair had no damage and is in perfect condition. Assembly was straight forward. I see that some people said the zipper was difficult to zip up but we didn't have a problem with it. But, like some other reviewers mentioned, the talon for the zipper is on the inside not the outside which isn't a problem but it just seemed odd. It took ten or fifteen minutes to finish assembly. My first thought when the chair was assembled was, "This chair is BIG!" (So much for it being SMALL" or "TINY". I wonder if the person(s) who said the chair is very small reviewed the wrong chair. Also, as most Amazon shoppers probably know, reviews are often mixed together with different products so you don't know what product the review is for. In any case, the chair is not small, let alone tiny. I actually wanted a smaller chair because the place where it used is very tight. Side by side with my old recliner, this one is substantially larger. But perhaps the best way to describe it's size is to mention that when I sit in it, I have about 3 inches of empty space on each side of my body. And, again, I'm 6' tall and about 250 pounds. I actually wish it was smaller but it'll do fine. Another reviewer complaint was that their feet wouldn't touch the floor when the chair is upright. My legs are "normal" length for my height. I have a 32" inseam. My feet easily reach the floor even with just socks on. In fact, I can still plant my feet on the floor about 2 feet in front of the chair. It's perfectly comfortable. Of course, very short people may not be able to place their feet on the floor. I can only speak for myself but I'm mentioning this as a reference for people considering the purchase of this chair. I really was looking for a manual chair. I like the idea of keeping things simple and having less things to fail but I didn't find a manual recliner that I like. Also, the manual mechanism broke on my old chair because it was probably more complex than a motorized chair. I love to fix things but the way it broke it was unfixable. Quality: One reviewer said that the chair is top tier quality. Well, it isn't. Truly top tier recliners costs thousands of dollars. But the quality of this chair is very good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, in fact. And it's very comfortable contrary to at least one reviewer's complaint that it was incredibly uncomfortable and that the seat was like sitting on a board. That's simply not true. It's very comfortable, in my opinion. In fact, about an hour after I assembled it, I feel asleep in it. This chair is a very good value. Value is what I look for in most things I buy. And my five star rating is based on how I perceive the value of this chair. The leather is good but not the greatest. It's not the very thick whole grain leather that you see on very expensive furniture but it's as good or better than most leather furniture. Only a very picky leather lover accustomed to very high-end (expensive) furniture would probably be disappointed with the leather of this chair. So, for most people, leather quality of this chair is not an issue. Speaking of leather, very often I see people who obviously think Top Grain leather is the best. They complain when a leather product they purchased was said to be "top grain" but what they received was low-quality leather. Actually, top grain leather is one of the worst leather grades. It's a misleading term that the leather industry uses, probably intentionally. So, if you're buying leather products, do yourself a favor and go online and look up what the different leather grades are. Again, Top Grain leather is almost at the bottom, quality wise. Full grain leather is the really good grade. There are other grades in-between. Become informed before buying leather goods. Now, I can't say for sure if the entire chair is real leather. Faux leather has become so realistic that it can be hard for anyone but an expert to tell the difference. That said, I suspect that maybe the back and side panels are faux leather (pleather). But, if that's the case, it's no problem. It's well done and those aren't wear areas anyway. Then again, it may be all real leather. In any case, most people will be very happy with it. The motors are smooth and quiet. Now, if there was one thing I would like to be different beside the size of the chair - and this is such a minor thing that I hesitate to even mention it - is that I wish the back and the footrest could be controlled independently. The way it works is as you press the button to recline the chair, the footrest starts rising up alone. Then, at some point, the back starts to recline as the footrest continues to rise. They are locked together in their cycle. The reason I wish they could be controlled independently is that. at some angles of recline, I wish I could lower the footrest a bit. But that may just be me. I have very tight tendons behind my knees and the chair is very slightly uncomfortable for me at certain recline positions. It's fine in most positions and when in full recline. On the other hand, maybe those slightly uncomfortable (and I stress "slightly") positions may be therapeutic for me in that they may help to stretch my tight tendons. Bottom line: I recommend this chair as a very good value. I would also take some of the complaints with a grain of salt because they are simply untrue, in my opinion. The chair is not SMALL or TINY by any stretch of the imagination. Nor is it only made for very small people or children, and the seat is not as hard as a board. I'm very happy with our purchase and I think I'll go sit in it after I post this review and I'll probably fall asleep in it. BTW, my wife is very happy with it too.

Nice recliner!
Really nice recliner! Has a firm seat, but my husband is very comfortable. Reclines well & has the head adjustment for watching tv or reading. I do wish it was also a rocking recliner, but we are very satisfied with our purchase. Super easy to assemble!

Comfortable Chair for a Good Price
Comfortable and sturdy. With a special $50 coupon from Amazon, it was affordable for my budget. I ordered the navy color. It's more of a blue-gray, which I like. I'm 5'5" tall, and the medium fits me well. There is some overhang on the foot rest, but I had that with my old recliner. I like the power headrest, as I have chronic neck pain. I chose not to buy a rocker recliner this time, and I'm glad I didn't. This model is sturdy and easy to get up from. One last thing. I believe it was supposed to arrive in two boxes. Instead, it came in one. The delivery company just dropped it in my driveway. Once inside, it was almost too big to wrestle through my doorways into the living room. Overall, I'd recommend this product for its style, color, medium size, comfort, and wall hugging features.

We needed something else, we kept this recliner! It's a keeper!
Excellent sitting chair and very comfortable for anything else you do when sitting and relaxing. First off the creamy white color is beautiful, this is not some slick, shiny, or stiff material like you'd see at your dentist's office. The material is supple gives easy to the hand, legs and seat, everything that contacts it. Now we love it so much we decided to keep this recliner, even after we realized in our fury of examining all of the pluses and minuses of several model's of recliners, this is not a power forward lift chair. it is simply a recliner that is easy to operate, takes up a minimal footprint of floor space and most of all looks and feels good to sit in. The construction is top of the marquis, from the metal framing and sturdy steel brackets which supports and holds the chair, the stitching is tight, no loose strings, inner padding luxurious when you put your sore, stiff body down to relax and catch a nap. We dealt with there customer service people about other issues and they are polite, professional and knowledgeable about their products. Some faux leathers squeak and groan until they get broke in. No need here, the quality of materials is, this chair, and at a very good price, given the economic uncertainty worldwide right now. Again this is not a power lift assist chair, it is a power recliner, both the back of the chair and leg rest are motor controlled with convenient rocker switches off to the side on the right arm of the chair. This chair was not what we realized when we unboxed it, but it sold itself, quietly as we both tried it out. Last, I'm the guy who is always critical of a negative service experience or product, I don't write glowing reviews very often, but this chair deserves the accolades I have given it. Buy it! It is a keeper!

Fabulous recliner at an unbelievably low price!!
I received my new leather power recliner today. I was able to set it up all by myself in about a half an hour. I’m almost 77 years old and I only weigh about 140 pounds and I was easily able to do everything that was necessary to put it together perfectly in a very short time. I sat down in it and fell asleep almost immediately. It is so so comfortable. The motor is so quiet. I can’t even hear it when I’m standing next to it. It’s completely silent. The rubber feet protects my architectural tile floor from being scratched. This recliner is First class all the way. The leather is so supple and consistently smooth with even stitching throughout. I am so happy with my purchase. I would definitely buy this fantastic recliner again and again. My neighbor recently came over and sat in this chair and fell asleep, almost immediately. I told him he was great entertainment. lol. He went out and bought two of the exact same recliner, and he has them today in his house and both he and his wife enjoy these chairs immensely.

Beautiful blue!
I absolutely love this recliner. I got the oversized in blue and it is not only beautiful but nice and roomy! I am 5’4 153lbs. and there is plenty of room for me and my chubby dog. I really like that the controls are in easy reach, my last recliner I had to actually sit up and bend over to operate the controls they were closer to the bottom of the chair, these are right below the armrest and easily accessible. Great price on this leather recliner.
