Yeowww! Catnip Chi-CAT-a Banana Toy for Cats - 7 Inches - Durable Cotton Twill - Made in the USA - Stuffed with Organically Grown Catnip

If you enjoy watching your cat bunny kick a catnip toy as much as I do: buy this banana. Honestly any of the Yeowww! Catnip Toys make her go crazy, but her favorites are the banana and the rainbow. She also enjoys the pink and brown cigars, but that shape with those colors....wasn't the best idea. The little stinkies fish in the tin are fun, but not quite big enough to keep her attention. They'd be great for kittens. We tried the pineapple - too big for our kitty. We haven't tried the peeled banana yet, that's probably next. She plays with all the Yeowww toys a ton on the day we take them out of the packaging. After that she doesn't play with them much on her own. How we get her to continue playing with them is by petting her a lot to where she gets to the edge of going wild, then we hand her the banana (or toss it from a safe distance) and she takes all that energy out by biting and bunny kicking on the toy. Kitty has fun. Hoomans remain scratch and bite free. Everybody wins. We also got the big Pollack (as in Jackson Pollack) fish and it's a little too big for our kitty, but her best friend is a neighbor cat - a huge tabby that comes by to visit her almost every day. They play a little. Then he eats 2-3 kibbles out of her bowl. Then he looks for the fish - usually where he left it the day before. He flops on the floor and licks and kicks that crazy looking fish for about 15 minutes straight. Then those two go out the cat flap and off for their daily kitty adventures. For as much as we get her to use these they last about 6 weeks and then she's not as interested and we replace it. I assume they just don't have that funky stank cats love after 6 weeks of use. The tabby cat will use the toy until it is completely broken open by his daily licking, kicking, and chewing. I'd say for him the toys last 3-4 weeks. I bought this banana years ago for my old cat and he was obsessed, slobbering all over it. Held up through tons of chewing and no catnip fell out through all the teeth marks. I bought a new one for my current cats and they like it too, just not to the same extreme. They love yeowww’s catnip but lost interest in the banana after a while. I assume it’s from the catnip not being as fresh or new. I threw this toy in a bag with some more catnip to shake and “refresh” it. Now they’re happily playing with it again, lots of bunny kicks. Mileage may vary depending on your cat’s preferences but it’s usually been a hit here.

I didn't think these bananas were going to work THAT well. I had been debating about buying this toy for my cats; they tend to be cats and play with a toy for a little then never look at it again. I finally caved and bought just one to see who would even like it. It was it a hit with 3 out of 4 cats going crazy for this banana. I have a special cat who never reacts to catnip so that didn't shock me he didn't like it. I bought three more to make sure everyone had their own banana plus an extra. It isn't the best quality because my boy cat put holes in it with his teeth the first few minutes of playing with it. After a month it has ripped at the seams a bit so one banana is now supervised play only. There's no crinkle so no noise when they play which is good the crinkle toys get annoying. I feel like it's a decent value for what you get if you get it on a B3G1 free deal that Amazon sometimes has or Chewy often has. It is very cute and I would buy again whenever I need to. These and the cat stages pickles are their favorite catnip toys.

I originally purchased this for my two cats who have since passed away. They LOVED it and they went wild!! I decided to purchase it again for my new cats and they also are obsessed with it!!! I feel like if four random cats all love this, chances are your cat will, too. I also purchase this whenever a friend gets a new kitten since it has been such a huge hit for all of mine. This item is well made (it will eventually get a hole in it if your cats play with it as roughly as mine do, but it is made very well). It's heavy enough that I think the cats enjoy fighting with it and bunny kicking it. I have purchased other shapes of Yeowww! but the banana always proves to be the winner.

Normally I would give a product my cats like this much a full 5 stars. But I just can't, the seams rip really easy. My wild orange single brain cell cat tears holes in this sucker at the seams because he LOVES it so much. This is our second purchase, and both had the same problems. Just know that by buying this stupidly awesome banana, you will need to have a sewing kit on hand otherwise all the cat nip will exit via tiny holes all over, or from the seam. regardless of this fault, my cats love this thing, and I will take the time to reinforce the seams and continue to purchsae. Though, I hope that one day I will be surprised by the seams being perfect. It hasn't been the case so far.

All cats love the banana!!! This is a staple cat toy in my house, my cat loves it and I havent found a cat that dislikes it. It usually holds up for a while but eventually it does get a bit worn and that's when I know I need to buy a replacement. I'm a loyal buyer of the banana toy!

My cats only like this brand the quality is amazing. I've purchased these multiple times for myself and fellow cat lovers . It's a great gift cats cant resist this cat nip it keeps them mellow and relaxed for awhile. They snuggle up to there bananas and hold them it's adorable to find them sleeping with them .They last along time as well I out spoil them with different ones . Great value for your money the cat nip is very long lasting I have had one for 5 years and they still play with it . Definitely great as a gift . There designs are cute pumpkin bananas rainbow adorable. My cat couldn't wait and tried opening Amazon bag that says it all . Truly the best cat nip.

Fast delivery, well packaged, and no plastic - which is great, because cats go so crazy for this banana that they attack the package. My cat was so interested that he attacked me while I was opening the package lol. Excellent quality catnip and fabric. My cats loved it.

My cat doesn’t like many toys but this one she’s obsessed with, happily plays around with it by herself, she’s 13 with arthritis so it makes me happy to see her playful.

My cat absolutely loves this. Even after the initial excitement phase that most cats go through with catnip toys, he still keeps it in his little “home” spot in his cat tree. I genuinely think it helps relax and calm him down. It’s also very durable. He likes to bite and kick it, and it’s holding up perfectly fine so far. I intentionally spent a bit extra because I wanted something that looked safe, well made, and high quality. A lot of cheaper catnip toys seem to have barely any real catnip or feel like they’re stuffed with random filler. Some fall apart quickly or just don’t seem safe. This one feels thoughtfully made and sturdy. It was worth paying a little more for something reliable. He even sometimes falls asleep on it like a little pillow. 5/5. Definitely a smart purchase.
